Look I agree in part but Jet fans have been in darkness for over 53 years & we don't act that way. Hey Anyone seeing G around lately. lol
I have nothing against the guy. I actually think the weird stuff is cool
heres my 2 problems:
1. only 1 Super Bowl in all those years on some pretty good teams and most especially losing the 2020 championship game at home to asswipe after having an amazing season
2. after the last draft I’m confident(as a Jet fan can be) that we can build through the draft. That said, if I believed we were 1 player away, the only guy I would hand a blank check to would be Majomes , not a 40 year old. Not that we would ever have that opportunity anyway

Dont think the dislike for Rodgers has anything to do with the darkness retreat. This is the 4th consecutive off season he has played the league with maybe I will retire, maybe Ill play some where else. I really want to host Jeopardy. Thats how he treats the franchile that has bent over for him for 18 years. Guy just isnt likeable. Ask his parents and siblings
It isn't hate, it's called sense.
If he comes here we may actually win the Superbowl this season, but at what cost ? His salary will hamper the team for years and he might not even be here to earn the money after one season. His " Process " which all players and teams are entitled to is unreasonable because it stalls everyone else's process and he doesn't care. He says he does but his actions say otherwise. He's always been a me first kind of guy. Do we really expect that to change if he comes here ? I'm concerned about what happens to what has finally become a pretty good team if he plays just one season and retires. I'm concerned that the draft picks that we would have to give up for him would prevent us from adding some more talent at some needed positions. I'll just repeat myself.......................I don't hate the idea of Rogers becoming a Jet but I have concerns.

The team still gotta have a future pal, it sold its soul once and we have paid for it ever since, when #12 meets Scratch at the crossroads and gets the contract ripped up we may have a chance lol
I've been a fan since 1983 and from the UK so obviously I haven't suffered quite as badly as you.
I just don't understand your infatuation with Rogers and the hope this potentially washed up guy is gonna give you, we made him look like a battered old has been in our game last year.
He is likely going to cost good draft picks, the man is 39yo and looks it, he isn't going to do a Brady and win us the pot, after flunking his chance every year since 2010.

Rodgers has skated the last two seasons in GB. Anyone thinking a new team will somehow (miraculously even) reinvigorate the guy is delusional. As lifelong Jet fans, we've seen this comedy played out before. Rodgers will take the cash and once on the field look like he's never seen a football before. It will just become the latest NY Jets debacle.
