listening to him rattling off his numbers & how he feels he was used by lafleur after his MVPs made me confident the guy will not be in semi retirement mode if he's moved.. he sounded like a guy confident that still believes he's can play at an all world level.. sign me up..
One thing to remember is he played hurt last year (serious thumb injury) so that definitely contributed to the inconsistency and issues we saw.
That being said, he’s going on 40 and the drop off will be sudden and drastic (see Peyton Manning). It could be this year, it could be in 3-4 years, but it’s definitely an unknown risk.

To be fair to Rodgers the Broncos won a Super Bowl with Peyton Manning who wasn't exactly lighting it up like days of old. I read some stuff online that was quoted and if true, sounded like Rodgers was genuinely struggling with this like anyone would. He didn't sound like such a dickhead.
All kidding aside, sometimes We get caught up and forget these are actual life decisions these guys are making. As we all know, that stuffs never easy.

What are the chances that Rogers may just be trying to screw the Jets. Carr has stated, more than once, that he wants to have his new team before free agency starts. Rogers doesn't have to make his decision until the new season starts. So..............Carr takes an offer because the Jets waited on Rogers and Rogers, when he finally gets around to it, blows off the Jets and either plays for the Packers or retires leaving the Jets with NOTHING because White also took an offer with another team. Sound possible ? Maybe I'm just getting panicky in my old age. No wonder Zach Wilson is still smiling.
