I think we are better off with Roger's too if we don't give too much. We will have a running game first so he won't have to carry the entire load. If he does well we celebrate. If he dies poorly we will have fun around here discussing what we have left in next years draft. But big moe is right. Let's win now.

A shitty QB definitely could produce that result which would indeed be horrible but I trust that JD will not let that happen.

rogers is a world class flake & i'm not the biggest fan of the guy off the field.. but he's is a 1st ballot HOFer & i don't believe he's washed..

my guess is rodgers has too much ego & is too protective of his football legacy to have much interest in stumbling his way into retirement with another organization..

BTW, he won an MVP award in a year you said he was skating in..

Up until the last two years, Rodgers was one of my favorite players in the NFL. No one is denying he is a first ballot HOFer. But that and MVPs mean jack sh*t now. For anyone looking, he's not been the same player.

I believe signing Rodgers will be another in the mountain of Jet blunders. I'll write that here and stand by it.

I don't have a problem with the dark room stuff either. My only complaint is how long it's taking him to announce his decision which we all can be pretty sure he has already made. He's holding up a lot of transactions and plans that teams and players alike need to get done before they lose out on something important. He needs to show a little consideration for the sport that has made him a millionaire.

Just make a decision. Apparently it's retirement, stay in GB, or be traded to the Jets. Hmmm........I bet He retires and while the Jets wait, Carr signs with the Saints. If that happens, you basically have to get the Bears on the phone and try for that #1.
