I'll be excited if the deal is consummated. Right now, I worry if we have money for other needed spots. While a QB need is of top priority, my mindset is getting a QB who can at least manage the game, move the chain, and we have replenished the OL and the secondary.
Saw that some cap clearing has been don't to contracts. It's for Rodgers and not Jimmy G.
Don't get your hopes up. The NFL owners don't want fully guaranteed contracts for players. Lamar Jackson is going to be the example unfortunately for him.
Then it's the perfect time to get him. Plus he has no agent. JD can work him magic and it would be easy.

Concern there are too many changes and we lose any continuity and familiarity with positions that worked. This isn’t simply inserting a quality QB. As we’ve been saying all along, this roster has several holes that still need addressing. Add to that, “if” they can get this done, it’s going to cost us assets “while we still have holes”.
This is going to be complex, and require some creativity to shore up some of these weaknesses.
