I didn't want either, I don't think Carr would suit NY and Rogers is too old tbh, we've been there before.

That's all true, thats why this is a complicated trade. Salary, fair compensation, Questions surrounding how long Rodgers might play. Will he play the same game next off season he has played the past 4. Its all either or. No having your cake and eating it too for GB.

There is talk that players could be involved in the trade as well as draft picks. Maybe Davis, Mimms, C.J. Uzomah? Sauce tweeted that he knows players are part of the deal. Im just speculating on what offensive players could be involved. Pack still have 6 picks through round 5 plus a bunch of 7th rounders so they will seemingly be able to add talent for Love.

Waiting til June 1st to make the deal does lower their cap hit but at the same time they have to pick up loves 5th year option of around 20 Mil which means the deal could in all reality be done and they are just keeping that fact to themselves. Really the money issue is sort of a wash because what they save on Rogers they will be spending on Love. For me, I think it all comes down to wether they want to use their draft pick this season or next.
Sad part is he may die of old age by the time he signs......But The Jets always do get a stiff at the QB position so why change?
