Packers converted Rodgers 58.3 M 2023 option bonus into 2024 salary meaning he's only counting 1.215 M (with a 50K workout bonus included) against Jets cap this year and 107.55 M in 2024 unless the Jets restructure this year or an obvious restructure coming next year!

Still pining for a pre-train wreck facial surgery Olivia Munn. It would take its toll on me as well.
I think he looked terrific yesterday. Fresh, , hopeful, and excited to be there. Just came off a NY Post article where the haters emerged. I replied in order to those experts.

Oh we got screwed, but I think it was Woody more than JD . The M.O . fits Woody a lot more than JD.
I disagree. I don’t think we got screwed at all. Even deal for both sides.
Other than the swapped picks, which meh, we gave up a second rounder and a pick next year. If AR plays most of the snaps and it goes to a first rounder, do you really think it will be an early pick in the round? If he plays all year I’m giving that pick at the least #24. That would make us at least a top 8 team in the league. Do you not think we are that now? I sure as hell do.

"Broadway Joe Namath was touched watching Aaron Rodgers explain why he did not want to wear Namath’s retired iconic No. 12."

“That was warm, that touched my heart a bit, that shows something about the man. He has a way about him, a lot of respect for the past. I was humbly grateful, you know what I mean? It felt good. It made me like [him] even more,” Namath told The Post with a laugh. “First time I met him I liked him, and I’ll tell you what, I’ve not seen anybody play better than him the times over the last 10, 15 years I’ve been watching.”

Rodgers, at his introductory press conference Wednesday inside the Jets Atlantic Health Training Center, had said: “There’s some iconic names that have played here — probably not more iconic than No. 12. And I heard what he said about in retiring his number, but to me, 12 is Broadway Joe.

“I didn’t want to even go down that path, and I’m excited about going back to my college [California] number.”

Namath was asked why he was willing to have his No. 12 unretired.

“Because I want to see the Jets win,” Namath said. “I’d love to see ’em win a championship. We’ve had a strong following for a long time, and I want not only the players to get the championship for themselves, but for the fans.

“I honest to God feel like the fans have been loyal, and we deserve being, I guess, awarded a championship. But we’ve gotta earn it. It’s because of the fans and the way they’ve followed the team over the years. There were some down years, we had some decent years."

Rodgers may not be everyone's favorite, but I have respect for the guy. I also think he wants to win a SB and winning one for the Jets changes the talk about him. I can't wait to see how much bigger the chip on his shoulder will be when GB drafts a 1st round WR which they never did for him.
Glad your in !!!!!

As you know I fully love this guy from his time in GB and still can’t believe he’s our QB

I heard him say ( finally what I’ve been dying to hear )
I’ll paraphrase
“Lots of teams want to win 8-9 games I say we win it all “
No more let’s win 6 games this year !!!!!
I love this guy !!!!
Of course I gave up my 50 year tickets wow would I love to be in the stadium with my dad after all that garbage we sat thru .

Oh well LetsGo!!!!!!
