I think it has to do with the makeup of the team now. QBs have rejected the Jets in the past, but the Jets haven't had this kind of roster before now. At this point, when it comes to the 2023 Jets, the only QB to reject them was Carr, and that seems mutual.

He would be a legend if he won it all here. But he also knows this is the best non-QB roster in the league, and it's where he could come and do the most to put a team over the top.

I don't think that's necessarily the case. Yeah when the GMs were a joke and the team was replete of talent...then sure. Now that the Jets have a stacked roster less a qb, QBs want to come here. Carr wanted to come here also. And if we were more serious, Jimmy G or Lamar might've been interested.

I like what I am hearing. A HOF QB with maybe a chip on his shoulder now plays for the NY Jets. I would love to see an MVP Season out of AR. Haven't seen one of those in a while from a Jets QB. If AR can pull that off, with this defense, and the weapons on Offense, I think the Jets will be doing a little celebrating in February.
