He was cut over $5.5 mill, so he's obviously looking for similar ball park money. I think the team that adds the most years to that $5 mill annual number gets him.
If they lose Revis and Browner, we better light these muthaeffers up for 400 Yards and 5 TD Passes when we see them.

Goldson had a few good years in SF. Not sure about how well he did last year in TB.

Per Rotoworld:
The Bucs are trying to trade S Dashon Goldson.

Good luck with that. Trading Goldson will be next to impossible given his enormous contract. Tampa Bay signed Goldson's replacement at free safety, Chris Conte, on Thursday. Goldson's play has deteriorated rapidly since joining the Bucs in 2013. Either way, he won't play another down for Tampa Bay.

Rahim Moore - DB - Free Agent
The Houston Chronicle reports the Texans are "closing in" on a deal with free agent FS Rahim Moore.
It's not a surprise after Moore visited Houston on Wednesday. Moore enjoyed a breakout year with the Broncos last season, leading the team with four interceptions. He'll join a strong secondary that already includes Kareem Jackson and Johnathan Joseph.

Charles Clay - TE - Dolphins
Dolphins transition player Charles Clay is scheduled to visit the Browns.
He left Buffalo without a contract. Before Clay signs an offer sheet, he's going to be the subject of a bidding war between the Browns and Bills. The Dolphins will then have the opportunity to match that offer sheet due to his transition tag. Miami has lined up a fallback option, pursuing free agent Jordan Cameron to tag-team with Dion Sims if Clay gets away.

Interesting that the Seahawks, who draft so well, believe this is a weak draft...

Seahawks don’t see value in the first round, so they trade out of it

By trading their first-round draft pick for Jimmy Graham, the Seahawks have put themselves in some rare company as a team without a first-round pick for three consecutive years.

Seattle traded out of last year’s first round to get picks in the second and fourth round, and traded a 2013 first-round pick for Percy Harvin. That will make the Seahawks the first team since the Chargers of the mid-1990s to go three consecutive years without a first-round pick.

The reason is simple: The Seahawks just don’t see value in the first round, especially late in the first round where they’ve been picking recently. Peter King writes at TheMMQB.com that Seahawks General Manager John Schneider has only 16 first-round grades on this year’s draft board. Which means the Seahawks, had they kept the 31st overall pick, almost certainly would’ve spent it on a player who only had a second-round grade.

In the short term, the Seahawks’ approach has paid off nicely. They’ve been to two straight Super Bowls, and they’ve just added Graham, who could have a bigger impact than any rookie in the NFL this year. Of course, the Harvin trade didn’t work out very well, and in the long run trading first-round picks for expensive veterans is a good way to run into salary cap trouble.

So it’s too soon to say if this trade will turn out to be a good one for the Seahawks. But at the moment, they’re a lot more confident that Graham can help them win than they are in any player they could have drafted.

DeMarco Murray - RB - Free Agent
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports free agent DeMarco Murray "is expected to" sign with the Eagles.
Which now begs the question of whether Ryan Mathews will back out of his contract. With Murray going to Philly, Mathews will have a much harder time earning built-in incentives. We'll wait to make the Murray deal official until he signs on the dotted line, but the Cowboys appear to be moving on, too. Reports indicate they've begun reaching out to other free agent running backs.

Akeem Ayers - LB - Free Agent
Free agent DE/LB Akeem Ayers is currently visiting Rams Park.
St. Louis is attempting to enhance a strength, flirting with Ayers and Nick Fairley as potential supplements to an already-elite defensive front seven. Ayers seems like a good bet to land with the Rams from the standpoint that he's drawn no known interest elsewhere. He is a 25-year-old edge presence.

This is why I was so dead against trading down with the Eagles to 20, which seems to be moot now, but I have 13 elite prospects in this draft, and I mean slam-dunk blue chippers, after that there's a lot more risk involved in my view.

My 13 elite prospects in no particular order:

Marcus Mariota
Jameis Winston
Kevin White
Amari Cooper
DeVante Parker
Leonard Williams
Danny Shelton
Dante Fowler
Shane Ray
Vic Beasley
Bud Dupree
Randy Gregory
Trae Waynes

ate Allen - DB - Raiders
Raiders signed S Nate Allen.
Opposing wideouts and tight ends torched Allen last season, but that didn't stop Oakland from pursuing him. He'll play free safety alongside veteran SS Charles Woodson. Brandian Ross will likely move to a reserve role now that Allen has joined the secondary.

Ben Grubbs - G - Chiefs
Chiefs acquired LG Ben Grubbs from the Saints in exchange for a 2015 fifth-round pick.
It's wheeling and dealing season. Grubbs was in danger of getting cut by the Saints due to his insanely-high $9.6 million cap number as he enters year four of a five-year, $36 million deal. The Chiefs have lost a ton of offensive linemen in free agency the past two years. Grubbs, a two-time Pro Bowler, will solidify it. He hasn't missed a start in three seasons as one of the league's better guards.

Ryan Mathews - RB - Free Agent
NFL Network's Albert Breer reports free agent Ryan Mathews' 2015 whereabouts is a "fluid" situation.
DeMarco Murray-to-Dallas is apparently a done deal. Mathews is waiting for Murray to sign on the dotted line, and may back out of his verbal agreement with Philadelphia at that point. The Chargers were known to be interested in retaining Mathews before his wink-nod deal with the Eagles. San Diego just wasn't willing to match Philadelphia's three-year, $11.5 million offer.

raiders being the raiders. just handing out contracts to anyone that will sign on the dotted line.

nice deal for the chiefs. grubbs is solid and a 5th is a great deal for him. kind of like our deal for marshall

ryan mathews must be thinking wtf. for his sake, i hope he hasn't signed on the dotted line (and it appears he hasn't if they are talking about him backing out)

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12468196/demarco-murray-sign-philadelphia-eagles

DeMarco Murray, the NFL's leading rusher in 2014 for the Dallas Cowboys, is jumping ship and joining the NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles.

"It was never about the money in any situation," Murray texted ESPN.com's Todd Archer. " If it was the money I could've taken that a long time ago on a very high deal. It's about winning a Super Bowl and being fair."

Murray is expected to sign a five-year, $42 million deal, including $21 million guaranteed, with the Eagles, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen.

Of the $21 million, $18 million is guaranteed for skill and injury.

If Murray's deal goes through, it could complicate the future for former San Diego Chargers running back Ryan Mathews, who on Wednesday reached agreement with the Eagles on a three-year, $11.5 million deal, including $5 million guaranteed.

Asked whether Mathews will sign the deal he agreed to with the Eagles, a source told Schefter, "We shall see."

Murray flew to Philadelphia to meet with Eagles officials on Thursday, a league source told Schefter. In the ensuing hours Thursday, the Cowboys began calling around looking for other running backs, expecting that they will lose Murray, Schefter's sources said.

Sources told Archer that there was a significant difference in the guaranteed money offered to Murray by the Cowboys and the Eagles.

Murray personally reached out to Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly on Wednesday morning, expressing his desire to play in Kelly's spread offense and with former Oklahoma roommate and quarterback Sam Bradford, league and team sources told Mortensen.

Murray's call was enough to jump-start tepid interest from the Eagles. Coach Chip Kelly has made it publicly and privately clear the team will be financially prudent in their personnel decisions. Kelly did not go to Oregon's pro day Thursday, opting to remain in Philadelphia to meet and greet Murray.

Aside from the contract, the Eagles are the most appealing to Murray because of his belief in their chance to win.

During his discussion with Kelly, a source said Murray characterized Bradford, who was acquired by the Eagles from the Rams on Tuesday, as one of his best friends. Both operated successfully out of Oklahoma's spread offense when they were teammates from 2007 through 2009. Murray also played the 2010 season at Oklahoma after Bradford moved on to the NFL.

"Absolutely. I've been trying my hardest," Bradford said Wednesday of trying to recruit Murray. "I've called him. I've texted him. I've done everything. We've been in communication. If we can somehow land him, it would be a great pickup. Not only is he a great player, he's a great person. He's a really close friend of mine, too. I think he can really help this ball club."

Of course, Murray just won the rushing title in 2014 for Dallas, running behind one of the best offensive lines in the league.

DeMarco Murray - RB - Eagles
Eagles agreed to terms with RB DeMarco Murray on a five-year, $42 million contract.
The deal includes $21 million guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $8.4 million. It's what Murray has been looking for all along, and what Dallas was unwilling/unable to pay. Free agent Ryan Mathews, who was on the verge of signing on the dotted line, now heads back to the open market. Detractors and skeptics will argue that Murray's breakout 2014 was a product of Dallas' dominant offensive line, but Philadelphia's is arguably better. Murray was also quite productive before 2014, averaging 4.94 yards per carry. Murray is a more north-south runner than LeSean McCoy, but his 497 2014 touches are a valid concern, as is his injury history. That being said, his ceiling is through the roof in Chip Kelly's offense, even if he'll be catching fewer passes. Dallas will now move forward with Joseph Randle, Lance Dunbar and likely a draft pick.

Free agent S Darian Stewart will visit the Falcons after he's done visiting Denver.
Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News says the Giants are also interested, though no visit has been scheduled. Stewart played all 16 games for Baltimore last season, the first time he's done that in his career. The Falcons are looking to replace Dwight Lowery at free safety.

Kenny Stills - WR - Saints
NBC Washington's Dianna Marie Russini reports the Saints are trying to trade Kenny Stills.
We're not entirely sure how credible this report is, although Russini has a strong track record. Stills is cheap talent at wideout and is't yet 23 years old. We'll believe the Saints are trying to trade him when we see it. What is clear is New Orleans' intention to remake its roster, particularly on offense.

Reggie Bush - RB - Free Agent
Free agent Reggie Bush is scheduled to visit the Patriots.
Bush already visited the 49ers, and the Saints have interest as well. New England makes sense as it pursues a passing-down back to replace Shane Vereen. New Orleans may view Bush as a fallback plan if it can't land C.J. Spiller.

Terrance Knighton - DL - Free Agent
An anonymous head coach tells NBC Washington that "teams are afraid to sign" free agent DT Terrance Knighton because he's out of shape.
Knighton is meeting with the Redskins on Thursday, but has already been passed on by former coaches in Oakland and Chicago. He was expected to be a hot commodity as a run stuffer, and was at one point outrageously seeking $8 million per year. It's not exactly surprising that someone nicknamed "Pot Roast" is out of shape, but Knighton could cost himself all sorts of money by not hitting the open market in the shape he's expected to be in.

Evan Mathis - G - Eagles
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Eagles are trying to trade LG Evan Mathis.
It's a surprising development as Mathis comes off a dominant year, but he is going on age 34 and the Eagles are probably trying to get younger up front. They may believe they can plug-and-play a rookie at left guard. Mathis' 2015 base salary is a reasonable $5.5 million. He's a lock to attract interest.

The Saints are close to signing former Patriots CB Brandon Browner.
I have only two things to say to the Saints:

1. I'm rooting for you guys to stick it to the Pats even harder. You can't hurt that team enough to satisfy me.

2. In the immortal words of Lou Saban:

"You can get it done. You can get it done. But whats more, YA GOTTA GET IT DONE!!"
