Note: I'm hoping and praying Phila didn't do this to trade Bradford to the Jets because I don't want Bradford. His injury history scares me to much. I'd rather deal with Mariota and Geno fighting it out with a veteran like Hoyer for the starting job. SH^T, I was counting on this Foles trade to work out. Dammit!!!

Bradtord could be a franchise QB he just can't stat healthy. I guess the Eagles hope he will.
I liked Bradford coming out of college but have "soured" on him due to his injury history.
If he is healthy he has a legit chance of being the starting QB unless Sanchez severely out-performs him in practice.
If it's true that Philly did indeed get a 2nd to go along with Bradford, then I don't think there is any question whatsoever they are getting ready to make their move up the board for Mariota.
As noted above Bradford is no fit in that system. But trading him to a pro-style offense (Tenn, Jets) along with Philly's first, the 2nd they acquired from St. Louis, and their 1st next year, makes ALL THE SENSE IN THE WORLD.
If the Jets are the trade partner, we have to ask ourselves if we would rather have Mariota or Bradford + additional picks. Honestly a tough call.

This deal implies that Eagles like Bradford better than Foles
COULD still be consistent with a deal with the Jets IFF the Jets told the Eagles that we would take Bradford if Mariotta is there at 6 and the Eagles want to do a deal.
Aside from health issues, Bradford has a big cap number this year - I think just under 13million. I would have thought thats an issue for Philly and maybe for us???

I don't think this says anything about the Jets liking Bradford more than Foles, because if the Jets wanted Bradford they could have swapped first round picks with the Rams for Bradford and the Rams would have been in a position to draft Mariota, a deal I have been advocating. I think this says the Rams liked Foles more than Mariota.
All this says is Chip Kelly is getting his ammo together to trade his way up the board for Mariota. That much is now obvious.
He has the second pick, just traded for it with Ten. Waiting for confirmation.

As I said above, the Jets and Tenn were the two teams likely interested in Bradford. This makes perfect sense with Locker retiring. I'm sure all the dteails are not out yet and the compensation will also (at a minimum) include the 2nd rounder Philly acquired from St. Louis.
