The Jets don’t have the 1998, 2009 or 2010 defense. A QB like Geno would probably have worked with those teams but not with this one. I don’t know if Klubnik can do better but the Jets need to find out with a significant amount of games before the end of the season.

Klubnik is the only reason I would care. This team might have some talent, but none of it is elite. At some point talent can overcome bad coaching if it is good enough and this team doesn't have good enough talent. Let Klubnik play and develop some sort of chemistry with Cooper and Garrett. If Klubnik sucks, you move on. If he has something then you have 10 games to evaluate.

I was hoping for an ironic moment - against Boston, Geno goes down, is replaced by Kubnik and he becomes OUR Tom Brady for the next 10+ years. How great would that have been?
But, we're the Jets. So that kind of shit will never happen.

You’re speaking to the choir sir! You couldn’t have put it any better. That would have been karma to the fullest extent but of course not. You are wrong about one thing. We need Klubnik to play for us and dominate 20 plus years, not just ten. That ain’t enough. Brady terrorized the NFL, especially the Jets for twenty plus years. We need a true get back!
