The Jets don’t have the 1998, 2009 or 2010 defense. A QB like Geno would probably have worked with those teams but not with this one. I don’t know if Klubnik can do better but the Jets need to find out with a significant amount of games before the end of the season.

Klubnik is the only reason I would care. This team might have some talent, but none of it is elite. At some point talent can overcome bad coaching if it is good enough and this team doesn't have good enough talent. Let Klubnik play and develop some sort of chemistry with Cooper and Garrett. If Klubnik sucks, you move on. If he has something then you have 10 games to evaluate.

I was hoping for an ironic moment - against Boston, Geno goes down, is replaced by Kubnik and he becomes OUR Tom Brady for the next 10+ years. How great would that have been?
But, we're the Jets. So that kind of shit will never happen.

You’re speaking to the choir sir! You couldn’t have put it any better. That would have been karma to the fullest extent but of course not. You are wrong about one thing. We need Klubnik to play for us and dominate 20 plus years, not just ten. That ain’t enough. Brady terrorized the NFL, especially the Jets for twenty plus years. We need a true get back!

Unlike many here I think Geno is doing an acceptable job, but with the season being over we really need to evaluate CK before the draft. Everybody wants the Jets to take a QB but it is possible that CK is better than any QB in the draft or at least better than those available when we pick.

Trouble is that AG is likely to be stubborn and hold out until Geno gets injured or has a really horrible couple of games.

My sentiments exactly! No telling what Glenn is going to do but if he knows he’s gone at the end of the year regardless, why would he want to pass on a knowing asset like Klubnik to the next HC.

Now if he was smart, he could look at it the opposite way and that is to play Klubnik and if he is the real deal, maybe he helps keep Glenn’s job.

At this point, that’s not what all of us want or need but if Klubnik is the read deal, that can potential change ALOT for all of us in ways we can’t answer right now.

Being a Jets fan takes a toll on you! It’s like carrying a small anchor on your back and it’s slowly sinking you in the water. Year by year!

As long as cooper is developing, I want no part of klubnik. Maybe closer to the end of the season.

How do you possibly not blame the QB

We’ll at least he equaled his win total of last year at the halfway mark

I’m with you on this 1,000 percent. How do we know that the OC especially and HC didn’t scheme up many plays deliberately to get the ball the past two weeks to GW5 and Geno just didn’t do it. It looked to me from that Dolphins @ Jets video clip that Wilson was screaming directly at Geno and Geno was blatantly ignoring him. Must be something there!

Valid point but then again, the Jets still aren’t winning! Doesn’t matter what Geno stats are or how good he’s supposedly playing, the Jets are still losing and now Garrett isn’t getting the ball. Maybe Klubnik will do a better job of getting them both the ball? Yes I know I’m probably 1,000 wrong in my thinking but what if I’m not???

Yes, I know that this is a big risk but they aren’t doing anything with Geno anyway. I’d hate to find out that I’m right about this in week 15. When if they gave Klubnik a shot now, he could have been giving the team more. Much earlier in the season than Geno. Plus showing all of us that he is or potentially can be a franchise QB.

I guess I’m just crazy for thinking out the box here but the Jets need some kind or spark. Klubnik could be that spark!
