I love that stuff. To bad it's so expensive. I marinated a black bear roast in it a couple years ago because I had some folks who didn't believe bear meat could taste good and now they can't get enough of it. Of course bear meat doesn't have to be marinated to taste good. There are many excellent recipes for bear meat. It does make an excellent marinade though.

After reading about the sweet visit Carr had at Jetsville, plus Rodgers flakiness, I want Carr! Tedy Bruschi disagrees! BFD! His point is: "Do you want a reliable QB or more? Do you want a guy who is 0-5 under 40 degrees, or a guy who can compete with Josh Allen, Mahomes, etc?" Of course the latter, but we might have to go through this crap with Rodgers next year? Keep White and Zachy-poo, get a solid OLine, etc. and let's go!

One problem. Carr never was or never will be as good as a Chocolate Bonnet.

Well if they sign Carr and He is successful it allows them to swallow that big old lump in their throat called Zach Wilson. Yes nothing will take the sting out of quietly releasing the Paperboy like a couple of deep playoff appearances.
Carr is rumored to be looking for a 2yr Deal right? At least that's what I read.
Carr is in a no lose situation with the Jets. If He is successful and they make the playoffs, He gets big time cash from the Jets or someone else.
If the Team sucks, but His stats are good Carr will still get that contract because people will say: "It's the Jets."
Sounds like a win win to me. Lol.

Are we going for Carr over Rogers?

I guess I'd rather that than OAP Rogers rocking up and taking the cash bag and downing tools.

If we don’t get Carr or Rodgers then I want someone like Minshew. He will be cheap and won’t limit the team’s pursuit of FA’s or cost draft picks. Plus we can pursue alternatives next season or draft someone this season. A guy like Tannehill would be devastating. Not good enough to win a SB, but also pricey and would require a multi-year commitment. I either want one of the top two or a cheap one year solution with Mike White in the mix. Avoid the expensive middle QB’s like Tannehill or Jimmy G.

If we miss on both, I’d rather use our capital to fix the putrid O-line and give the reigns to Mike White. See what we have there with a solid line and a full season to show what he can do.

We can regroup next off-season to evaluate options

Still gonna need Minshew because Mike White can't stay healthy.

With a decent O-line and coordinator, we may already have the answer on the roster. I think the FO agreed that LaFleur was part of the problem :unsure:

I'd rather have Carr, but if we swing and miss, I don't want a knee-jerk panic move that costs us for years.
