Why do I feel like JD is going to fan on getting the big names and we wind up with "The Zilchster" as starter again in '23? You know what that means, right? The Jets throw away another season, we go like 5-12, and JD and Saleh get the boot.
I agreeWith a decent O-line and coordinator, we may already have the answer on the roster. I think the FO agreed that LaFleur was part of the problem
I'd rather have Carr, but if we swing and miss, I don't want a knee-jerk panic move that costs us for years.
Look we need people to fire every year...If we have good people we won't be able to handle that on this siteWhy do I feel like JD is going to fan on getting the big names and we wind up with "The Zilchster" as starter again in '23? I had never looked at it this way, butter. It's like the NY Jet fans' version of a positive attitude. lolLook we need people to fire every year...If we have good people we won't be able to handle that on this site
Now I did think that until I saw him try and throw a long ball late in the season, the preseason hype had gotten me all excited, you know Jets fans love a good third QB hero, he is never a starter, he could come in and do Taysome Hill trick moves I'd say but a bona fide starter he is not.And in spite of how he's heads and tails better than Zach or Flacco, and well liked by everyone. I'm sorry MW fans, he's not a starter. He's not consistent enough. I'd rather have Strevler.
He may not be a long ball thrower. We haven't really seen enough of him for me to make that judgement. He doesn't succumb to pressure though, he out maneuvers it and makes a play, often with his feet. White doesn't really have that skill. I am inclined to agree that he's not a starter, at least not yet. I just think he's better than White. Besides..............the long ball isn't everything. Keeping the sticks moving is. I have to hand it to White for being tough and hanging in there and he's a solid back up.Now I did think that until I saw him try and throw a long ball late in the season, the preseason hype had gotten me all excited, you know Jets fans love a good third QB hero, he is never a starter, he could come in and do Taysome Hill trick moves I'd say but a bona fide starter he is not.
Nothing much to argue about there tbh but I will say if teams know you don't have an arm then they will pack the shorter throwing lanes a bit more and making life a little more difficult. He may not be a long ball thrower. Guy’s like 2’2” standing on his toes .Just draft Jake Haener JD. No matter what vet you sign, trade for, or pull out of your butt just draft this Kid. I like the cut of his Jib as we used to say. A couple of years behind a Vet and this Kid could be a star.
5ft 10" taller than me but I'd say that he won't see down the field at that height, people argued the case for Baker but in the end his lack of height probably has hindered himGuy’s like 2’2” standing on his toes .
I claim credit for his future nickname, "Barty".Guy’s like 2’2” standing on his toes .
I agree.........based on his TEAMS HISTORY going to a championship game sounds like a stretch. However he's not been helped by their defense at all during that period which makes it difficult, at best, to win games. With this in mind I tend to not be too negative about his chances for success with a very good defense, some real talent on the "O" line, hopefully to be improved, and mostly different coaching staff. The only way I see him not being significantly better than what we have would be to make him play with both hands tied behind his back. If our QB play had been better we would have made the playoffs this year so a good, even if not great, QB could conceivably get us that far.I can't understand it when the Jets say, "We get Carr, we'll go to the Championship Game".
9 years, one playoff,a loss. Could they be talking about Champions of East Rutherford?
Okay. He's listed at 6'1. Scouting reports rave about his Leadership ability and He can make all the throws. Something Zach can't do. Just a thought.Guy’s like 2’2” standing on his toes .
More and more, it's looking like Tannehill and Zilchie "battle it out" in training camp for the starting job. If that happens? It might be the final straw that breaks this SOJF's back...and what's left of my emotional well being.Heard Rodgers might stay with Packers. Prediction Carr will use the Jets to up the offer from another team.
Yea that report came from packers front officeHeard Rodgers might stay with Packers. Prediction Carr will use the Jets to up the offer from another team.
That is a huge forehead
