3rd and 4 inside the 10 with the game on the line, a TD means it takes a TD to beat you, and we run the ball off tackle, kick a FG, and give the ball back to the Bengals with a lousy one point lead.
I know we were running the ball well in the second half, but that tells you how crappy Fitz was out there today.
If he was playing an even halfway decent game and making plays, there's no way in hell we are not throwing in that spot.
That said, if you can't trust your QB to throw the ball in that spot, why the hell did you give him 12 million dollars?
Bryce Petty could have handed the ball to Powell in that spot for about 11 million dollars less.

When the Jets didn't make it 14- nothing and was settling for a feildgoal, i was pissed, Fitzpatrick sailing that throw high. A team with play off aspirations needs a QB who drills that ball into the breadbasket. Go up two TD's, put the Bengals on their heels. The crowd was already in a frenzy. POOF, Ryan MissPasstrick chokes, Then Folk gets a 22yard kick blocked?!?! Don't you just pop those into the air and it's three points.
There were a lot of throws off line today for MissPasstrick.
If Revis continues to play like he did today,he should wear a ski mask cashing Woody Johnsons check.
OH well, it's on to Buffalo.
Based on some of the reactions around here, you'd think it was the Super Bowl we lost.
I'm over it. I was disgusted for a little bit, and then remembered we have 15 more to go. Painful losses happen. Just so happens we got one early.

I agree the approach is all wrong, but it has nothing to do with not trusting Fitz. Fitz actually played quite well today if you understand what Fitz is............

Not sure why you feel good about going to Buffalo on a short week, considering they swept us last year, including the last game of the season when we had everything on the line and they had nothing on the line except pride and playing hard for their coach. Also, Fitz has a long history of playing poorly verses Rex Ryan's defenses.
NO, them not drafting Dak Prescott was a bad pick. HUGE MISTAKE IN FACT!!!! Not saying with Dak, the Jets would have won today but I am saying the Jets would have lost with a young future franchise QB. Who would have done no worse then that six team hack journeyman QB we do have now. Fitz wasn't the reason we lost but he definitely didn't do anything to help the team win either. Enjoy the 6-8 wins at most this year Jets faithful!!!
Now that I am me again, and not feigning some raving lunatic, I will seriously ask this question: ST an F? Yes, Folk's kicking game was an F. But the punting was sensational, and Marshall was very solid in the return game.
Special teams are all-inclusive, not just placekicking.

Yes Jets faithful, I'm going off one damn game. Our secondary sucks an our QB is worse. Fitz finally comes back to earth to who he really is. Before the season started, I was a fool also and thought the Jets could win 10 games again this year but I'm glad I know better now. We'll be lucky if we win 1 game in the this 6 game string of horror stretch. It's going to be a LONG YEAR Jets faithful and being that this is the case, I ask you couldn't we have done this with Petty playing? Or better yet, Dak Prescott like many of us were asking them to draft him. But instead, they draft Christian fucking Hackenberg in the second round and he won't even see the fucking field this year!!!

Last year has nothing to do with this year. They beat us by 5 twice. Both games could've gone either way at the end.
Buffalo has no dominance over the Jets. The Jets are gonna come out pissed off Thursday night. They know they gave one away today. We're winning that game.
