You certainly don't think Geno is better than Carson Palmer, and I'm not sure we have any reason to think he's better than Stanton, either (unless we're using the dreaded P-word).

You can say he's better than Lindley, but I'm not sure that's saying much . . .

I think with the right coaching he will be...Palmer and Stanton had one of the best H/OC in NFL....Geno had Rex...MM looking for his next job...Idzik giving him 3-6 type WRs

Brokedown Palmer and Stanton gave the Cards a 9-1 start to the season.. If Chan gets Geno to do that I'll vote for him for the HOF..LOL However they Jets went 9-2 with Sanchez in 2010 so hope is still alive..

I don't even think Fitzpatrick needs a resurgence. All he needs to do is play like he did last year until he got hurt. He gives you that kind of performance, the Jets will be fine.

I guess it depends on your definition of "fine". Could we make the playoffs? Maybe. Could we make some noise? Why not -- we did in 2009-2010.

But teams with a QB ALWAYS think they're in the hunt, and teams without one always try to rationalize why they'll be OK without one (as they watch the playoffs from home every January) . . .

So true! If he plays like he did last year with the playmakers he has this year, the already very good stats from last year will be added to. This offense hast the potential to very, very good.

I believe we are finally under a competent hc and gm that is for sure.

how the players react to him we will see.........i do believe some may be harboring resentment a little because they liked club rex but once we get rid of them or they change their tune i am excited to see what bowles can do.

good point about potential malcontents..

parcells was great at weeding them out.. lets hope that's one of the leason's he passed on to bowles..

HYATT™ has a reputation for being one of the more harsh critics of any FAIR analysts doing the work these days.
Lawdy knows HYATT™ has had more than his share of negative comments to make about the Jets over the past couple of seasons...
BUT!

HYATT™ ALSO warned Jets fans to EXPECT a couple of rough years until they could clear up the HolMEs & Snatchez contract situations and find a decent starting QB - 2015 being the predicted return to competitiveness made by NostraHYATT™ all the way back in late 2012.
It could have gone belly-up on HYATT™ had Idzik retained his position, but thankfully for NostraHYATT™'s prediction streak, he did not.

Rex Ryan being deposed made much less difference in the grand scheme of things than many would suspect.
Even had Rex Ryan remained, this would be an AFCC game competitive squad this season.
HYATT™ expects nothing less than a run for the Big Dance in 2015 & as far as I know, HYATT™ is the first kid on the block to make that prediction.
(Added qualifier, IF Fitzpatrick is the QB of record - which HYATT™ believes will come to pass.)
