Hopefully we don't get leapt for Warren. Going in with only Ruckert would definitely be tipping our hand

It would be sad if this was how it ended up, with the Jets trying to tread water instead of getting better; using our #1 pick to replace a good player with a player who might be good. We would be reaching as well, as Warren seems to be a low teens pick in the mocks I have looked at. The NY Post says that many Jets fans echo my feelings that we are free agency losers so far; perhaps this is the Rodgers cap hit effect, as we are forced to wait to shop from the remaindered shelf.
Perhaps we could trade for Michael Penix from Atlanta to throw to them, at least it would stop the NFL from putting us on MNF.

I think they are giving him more credit than he deserves if that's the case. He has played both center and guard for the Jets but mostly he has kept the injured reserve seat warm. I had him on my cut list.
It will be really interesting to see what this team looks like at the end of training camp. One of my hunting buddies, from out on Long Island, is watching this teams signings and cuts with renewed interest this season because he noticed that they are using the Italian Economy Team Building System. He hasn't seen this system employed in quite some time.
It could happen but I doubt it. Diggs has a personality disorder and expects a lot of touches. He's also coming off an ACL injury and might not be available at the start of the season. He's also north of the age that Glenn and Mouge seem to have set their cut off at which seems to be 30 years old. It all depends I guess on how desperate they are to add another receiver.
Id rather a receiver like Keenan Allen
