Agreed, can't argue that!
Here's the bottom line on Geno - whether you think he stinks and will in perpetuity or has a chance to develop, one thing everyone can agree on is that he has been very inconsistent. He has had moments where he looked like a potentially good NFL starter. And he has had moments which were downright atrocious. The fact is that what we think really doesn't matter. There's a new coaching staff, new GM, and they will have their own opinions. I think they will make the right decision with respect to Geno. They will either draft the next starter, or Fitzpatrick or Geno will win the job in camp, and go from there.
If Geno does win the job and he continues being turnover prone, I am sure he will not keep his job very long. Bowles does not appear to be fond of turnovers. He wants complimentary football. So no matter what happens, I think the decision on Geno will be made by some pretty good coaches and talent evaluators. I think they'll figure this out. The feud about Geno's future as a Jet will be decided in due course.
