Exactly..........everyone but everyone knew that no team was going to give him the deal he was looking to get. The ploy worked for the Jets as it showed him that he had only two options, retire or play for the Jets on a reasonable ONE year, short one year, deal and prove his worth. Sometimes the Coon Cat does get it right. He also says that Reddick will put forth the best effort he has in him to impress all the teams for the off season when he becomes a free agent. This is definitely a win for JD and the Jets. To bad it didn't happen before the Buffalo game. It might have helped.
