If Reddick doesn't manage to find a trade deal he will be left with 2 choices. ONE.......retire......or TWO...... show up at the Jets facility and play lights out the rest of the season trying to convince some team to give him the multi-year deal he is looking for. He can't, unless he is just simply brain dead, sit out the entire season because his contract would toll and he would be in exactly the same situation start of next season that he is in now. SO he will either be traded or be a playing Jet by week 11. I initially thought it was week 8 or 9 but I heard one of the EXPERT NFL insiders say it's week 11. Either way he is running out of time.

Not quite. If the guy is an asshole we give him a multi-year contract so after we are forced to release him he takes up part of our cap number for years afterwards.

No. Can't waive the fines. That's the leagues money. But they can restructure his contract and pay him his full salary circumventing the rules
