Here's the complication ... I think Gailey is done here, I'd like to hire Norv turner. But if we are starting to develop petty, do we just rip his only nfl coach away from him and make him learn a new offense?
I'd love to fire Gailey and hire norv over the bye week.

i like turner.. no question he's a very solid OC..
but many of us here were campaigning for gailey (myself included) before he got the job.. he certainly looked like he still knew what the hell he was doing year one here.. did he forget how to coach that quickly?? or maybe bowles had more to do with yesterday's game plan than first imagined??
one of the few things i believe when bowles does his pressers is when he says he's still not in coaching for the future.. the guys trying to hold on to his gig the best way he knows how.. i get it..
but if you're a GM, wouldn't that give you some pause when it comes to a defensive minded HC, entrusted with two raw but
physically gifted & bright young QB's?? can he trust that bowles will give both petty & hackenberg a
real chance to be "the guy" under his watch??
if bowles is one for chasing his own "magic number" of wins per season to justify his employment, does he really have the jets best interest at heart?? i say no..
i believe/
hope maccagnan takes a long hard look at his HC at season's end..
