You seem to think I am the only one who has been bothered by what you have been saying. I have seen several other posters call you out. I have seen you get snippy and arrogant with other Jets fans in threads I had not even joined. I have seen posters who used to support you now say that you are trending toward trolling.

That aside, nothing in my post was in any way inflammatory toward you. It was an observation. The Jets have one of the most cynical, jaded fan bases in the league, and the Pats have one of the most positive and optimistic. If you can't handle simple truths, then no, there's no point in interacting any further. Nothing I said in that post was inflammatory toward you. Nothing.

+1 agree with Sack. I did not see any inflammatory comment from Sack to get this type of reaction Grogan ? You might want to pick up your under deflated balls and go back to your Patriot board. If you can't have a grown up civilized conversation without getting your panties in a bunch, then leave.

Go Jets...Cyborg

Jace Amaro SUCKS. Instead of the guy running his mouth, how about he focuses more on getting better? Granted, the Jets QB sucks a fat one worse than Jace Amaro's lack of play, but that isn't any excuse for Amaro sh*tting the bed on big plays. My suggestion to him is to STFU and start playing up to his pick and salary.

I agree with Nick. I think he catch 60+ balls this year.

Maybe I am crazy but I have not felt this good about a TE since Mickey Shuler.

I bet you have strong feelings for another Penn State grad I hope this is not blasphemy to you. lol :waving-white-flag:

Geez, you need one of these to get through some of these posts.

After years at JI, you learned that MJ is a good Jets fan but he has an interesting way of expressing himself. It might be a way folks talk in the great DownEast corner of the great USA. Also likes to kill cute little deer and other herbivores.

However under that gruff, profane exterior beats a heart of tender fiddle ferns

Just takes getting used to

You'll find I never really talk about Penn State prospects. It is super hard to not be bias and i fight it with every ounce of my soul. :) It would be like if there was a league higher than the NFL you also enjoyed and players were drafted from the NFL teams to the higher league. Initially, you'd hope Muhammad Wilkerson, Mangold, Brick, etc would be on your favorite "higher league team," and part of you does; however, you quickly realize, why would I want Wilkerson when I could have JJ Watt...

Nevertheless, it's too hard for me to be unbias. I noticed years ago you also dont notice Hobson loby too much for Michigan players on the board. There may be a few he will admit he likes in 'x' rd, but I dont remember him saying I hope we draft Lewan as an example.

Last year I did really like Allen Robinson, I can't lie, so I tried super hard not to talk about him to avoid someone saying he isn't Mike Evans, Marqise Lee, or Brandin Cook. In all honesty, I always loved him more than Lee, but I tried not to be too bias...I remember last year's class my order was something like Watkins, Evans, Moncreif, Cook, and Robinson...Robinson ahead of Lee, Benjamin, and Beckham. I still think the kid will be special, expecially since he ran his 4.40 after putting on 15lbs from his PSU weight (210)...he also grew an inch from his program height of 6'2 and just came in at 6'3 and a smidge.

Something that's interesting, and other than myself (PSU), Hobson (Michigan), Sarge (Bama), and Point (FSU), i dont know how many people watch their fav college teams weekly...but if as fans we were completely honest, when we see the players at the senior bowl or at the combine, they often look different than we saw them on Saturdays...I notices right away Robinson already started filling out in his NFL body at the combine...and we dont know how they will play at their new size/weight. It is super hard to be unbias...so i dont get too deep in my PSU feelings when talking draft...I do get in my Big 10 feelings all the time, and Im one of those fans who enjoy seeing great players in conference (Ive noticed Sarge does too, he wont let the jersey name hold him up from jumping on the board and saying "I love Mike Evans," last year as an example). Im like that too. I may hate Mich St on game day, but watching their defense the last 3 years has been a blast. I am sure Hobson would admit the way Michigan St plays D is fun except when they play you. Those guys are physical and tough as nails (like Iowa's oline)...Latimer at IU was a kid I couldnt watch enough and I am 100% sure if he stays healthy will be a #1 ...maybe a 1B playing with Thomas.

Nevertheless, Jesse James you say? :)

First, again, trying not to sound super bias on my scouting report, but I will say up front I love the kid; however, my overall grade would be mid rd pick, 3 or 4, and an ideal #2 TE to match up with an athletic #1 TE. He is a sneaky kind of athletic. he isn't fast, that will be his biggest weakness, but an extremely hard worker and does everything well.

He's huge...not big...huge. Im telling you, the kid is sneaky athletic, holds the ball over the middle (classic safety blanket) is 6'7 265 with a 38 inch vertical...think Gronk size and athletic ability but nowhere near the speed. I think he ran a 4.89 at the combine and 4.69 at PSU. He's a very sound blocker; our oline was bad this year, he may have been our second best blocker on the line behind Donovan.

I'd love him to be Cumberland's long term replacement. NFL Comparison: Maybe a bigger Jay Riemersma.

Look at how big a target he is...oh, and watch how awesome Hackenberg (6'4 220) slings the ball. Man I hope we get him.

I used to be that way with SU players loved quadry ismail and marvin harrison and rob carpentar and I still think nassib is the best QB of that class, but other than that SU isn't the powerhouse they used to be.

I guess Ryan forgot that Mangold( as well as Richardson and Wilkerson) supported Demario Davis' criticism of the preparation of the team. His selective memory isn't surprising. He needs things like this Amaro situation to fire his players up to make up for the lack of actual football activities during the week. That and a trip to Dave and Busters will do the trick.

Rich Cimini @RichCimini · 10m10 minutes ago

Rex Ryan, to @KimJonesSports on WFAN, piles on Jace Amaro. Says Amaro "totally misspoke ... will be accountable when we go to play him."

Rich Cimini @RichCimini · 6m6 minutes ago

Ryan would've been "absolutely devastated" if criticism came from Mangold, Brick or Harris, but calls Amaro's words the rant of "a kid."

It also seems like Ryan is threatening Amaro. He better watch out with that. Some could start to make connections to a bounty if he's not careful.

Ryan is very close to winning the dumbest POS to ever coach in the NFL.trophy with his threats, grandiose boasts, bragging and bluster all backed up.by a six year losing record as a HC

Seriously just a very stupid individual

Oh and BTW you dumb slapdick Mangold and Wilkerson and Richardson did support Davis' criticism of your pathetic lack of coaching preparation for games while you were ruining the Jets

That moment you hear Rex Ryan say Jace Amaro is going to be 'accountable' when the Jets play the Bills...

Rex said on WFAN that Jace Amaro's comments don't bother him. But he's now insulted the TE three times. Sort of sounds like he cares.

Geez, seeing Ryan's reactions, it's almost like Amaro was dead on with his comments(which of course were made by several players last year and Ryan was too gutless to defend himself then I guess).

Comment on it, and move on. Rex's obsession with Amaro is a bad look. What it tells me is that Ryan sees at least a sliver of truth to it. Otherwise, why carry on about it so much?

All this bulletin board nonsense is mythical. The Bills aren't going to be any more motivated to beat the Jets than before, and vice versa. The media are starting to feed this fire, too. Juicy stories for a slow period during the off season. Don't think this crap isn't going to repeatedly come up from our beat writers throughout the year. :smiley-toilet05:
