Actually thought the same thing.

IMO the Jets' CS really wants Petty to step up NOW. 1) To get a clear winner of the non-competition, competition 2) So they don't have to carry 4 QB's on the roster opening day.

Agree

Folk has clearly won, or Martin has let it slip away by missing kicks in actual games. Hope it doesn't bite the Jets in coming years, but the "Folk hero" has won.
