Think about it, if the Jets are really trying to make a determination as to whether or not to keep 4 QBs, of course they are going to give Petty a lot more reps. They already know that Geno can win NFL games and that he has greatly improved his grasp of the offense, his command of the huddle, his poise, and his communication. What they need to know is whether Petty has demonstrated enough progress to justify keeping four QBs. It is becoming increasingly clear that he has, and for me as for you, that is very exciting. I love the reports on his accuracy and his leadership. But it is clear that Geno has also been really sharp, and as Jet fans you should be excited that BOTH guys are looking good.
Everything you may say of Geno is true, but Thursday night I saw more of the same from Geno. Wide open receivers get passes bounced to them, checking down when he doesn't need too. His TD pass was great, but he needed an 80yard kick return to do anything positive
