yes, they said he moved awesome today...i wonder if Milliner and McDougle will be competing for the same roster spot.
McDougle is from my neck of the woods...so Im rooting for him. Plus I despise drafting Bama defensive players, like USC offensive players...
I do wonder if both even make the team. Will be interesting though. I wish we tried Milliner as safety...but he's so soft if he came up to make a hit he'd likely get hurt anyway. Too bad he's so fragile.
Yes, it's a painful admission that one of Idzik's draft picks is doing well. It's shoots holes in his theories.

Very disappointing, and IMO disrespectful of this new regime, that he's not here and apparently didn't even bother to tell anyone why. Its a new coach trying to put in a new system, and these guys (Wilkerson and Sheldon) are two of our best players, and as any coach will tell you, your team is in good shape when your best players are also your hardest workers, ALL IN and setting the right example. Instead one guy is holding out for JJ Watt money (reportedly), which is absurd, and the other guy, nobody knows where the hell he is, not even the head coach.

the jets with the 6th pick got the player many considered to be the best in the entire draft..
If you have Aaron Rodgers, and the BPA when your pick comes up is Andrew Luck...do you take him?

Mock drafts and non-professional, non-NFL men felt he was the best player in the draft. That's a big difference in evaluation talent, IMO.

Only one qb can play at a time. Bowles can play 4.... maybe 5 defensive lineman at once.

Apples and Oranges
There's only one QB on the field and if you have a franchise QB, the other QB (barring injuries) is entirely useless.
D-linemen, OTOH, comes in 3's or 4's on any given play, depending on the front, heck you can even play with 5, and Williams is a kid who offers scheme versatility, he can play end in any scheme and D-tackle in the 4-3, so there's plenty of ways to get him on the field, even with the talent we had on the D-line to begin with.
Thats why I agree that a strict BPA is not always wise, but I support a BPA within reason.
The BPA scenario was my point...and he can't pay 4 maybe 5 defensive lineman 12 mill a year...because those 3 are going to ask for it...Sheldon will ask for more...
To your point, he can play 11 defensive linemen if he wants. Maybe that's our long term goal and im missing Bowles and Macs vision. You're probably right.
