Not one pick have I said meh too.
I think the trade down hurt, in that several intriguing players of talent who would have filled needs fell off the board. I don't mind trading down, but this one may have hurt.

Agree I think that third round was the first screw up. I would have stayed put and taken either tevin or eli
Again JMO but I think Maudlin was our pick even if we stayed put and Macc knew he could get us the extra picks plus Maudlin
From how anxious I think they were to get the pick up there, you may be right.
Again, with Harold available at 70, I would have gone him rather than Mauldin. But this kid will be VERY easy to root for.
I'm not really missing Idzik.
Like someone already said, we can't compare Harold with Mauldin, but rather Harold with Mauldin, Posey, and the two extra draft picks.
Macc already said he likes quantity of picks because it increases the odds of hitting on one. Ideally Mauldin proves to be Harold's equal (or better), but at least now we've got four different diamonds in the rough to hope for . . .
True enough. The kid has a great work ethic and attitude. If anyone is going to give his all to being a good NFL pass rusher, it's him.
The trade basically nullifies the FITZPATRICK trade..meaning we basically got him for nothing....
Well, yes, assuming the Jets were taking Mauldin at 70. If they were, then absolutely.

someone said the kid plays faster than his numbers indicate and that seems to be the case i see also looking at him on film.
it's like when they say seabiscuit is not a fast horse riding the track by himself, but if you give him competition he can give you a extra gear.
I think the kid is like that give him some competition and you see a faster mauldin than at the combines. The adversity he has faced in his life he has risen up and defeated is the same ones he needs on the football field.
He says he wants to be the best and i believe him.

I like the Mouldin pick and 2 extra picks over Harold. Harold is faster than Mouldin but Mouldin has a higher motor. Does not ever quit on a play. And Mouldin on tape looks like he plays faster than his combine numbers
