It would be nice to be at least 3 up on the Nats when they come to NY a month from now.

Take a look at the schedule

If both teams stay status quo,....few significant injuries....the Mets should be 6 or 7 games up on the Gnats

Just think how the offense will be clicking if Wright can be back by the end of this month and get a few games in before the Nats come to town.

Granderson, Murphy, Wright, Cespedes, Duda, Cuddyer, D'arn, Tejada.

Uribe, Johnson, Conforto, Flores Pawlecki keeping the guys fresh

That lineup looks downright NASTY!

METS RELIEVER FALLS, OUT FOR SEASON
LHP Jerry Blevins fell off a curb and re-fractured a left forearm bone Monday night, according to the Mets. The 31-year-old Blevins, who came from the Nationals for Matt den Dekker, is eligible for free agency after the season. He is earning $2.4M this season

Well that was a waste of money and a role player. Guy's been injured all season. What a knucklehead.

He'll probably move up to Triple A next year and have a few call-ups to the Majors. Nimmo just got promoted to AAA and is doing very well hitting.

What a great win for the Mets. They battle back 3 times to win this game. Most exciting Mets win all year IMO.

Bullpen has me worried .... especially those 7th & 8th inning guys.

Attention to bandwagon Pinstriper fan Craig Cartoon of Boomer and Cartoon

For awhile now you've been crowing about the Pinstripers 6 game comfortable lead in their division and wondering why fans were paying any attention to the stepchild Mets and their tiny lead over Washington

The Mets lead has grown to 2 1/2 games, Pinstripers are down to 3 1/2 and are 4-6 in the last ten

Mets have won 10 of their last 12 games.

The team to beat in the NL, Caveman, has lost 10 of their last 15

Starting to look a lot like Mets Cubs 1969

Noah definitely pitches much better at home. d'Arnaud had a tough night as did Uribe. left some RISP.

Colon going this afternoon. Hopefully we take the series.

TB has overloaded the infield so often against the Mets.... I'm surprised how effective it has been.
Everyone seemed a bit sluggish last night after the big 1st. Grandyman is in a groove.

Conforto takes way to many strikes looking. He'd be in an 0-2 or 1-2 hole without even having a swing. Would like to see him be a little more aggressive. Has been seeing a ton of off-speed stuff late in the counts.

We need Matz back ASAP so Colon can be a spot starter. Thor, Harvey, Mats, DeGrom, Niese. Let's ride those horses for the next 6 weeks and see what happens. Worse case bring Montero in as the 6th starter if you want to keep the young guys innings down.

Hoping the Rockies can close out the 9th w/o blowing the 2 run lead.
