You got Gordon and your credit
Melvin wanted to be drafted by Green Bay, (even though his uncle is a CHI fan and he grew up in CHI).
He is definitely NOT happy to be going to San Diego. (#1 Son works with his closest relative, Gordon's uncle, John, who is with Melvin, there in CHI at the draft.)
He was hoping for anything but, and specifically AZ or DAL, in that order, if he didn't make it to GB at #30.
Packers already have Lacy and weren't going to draft a RB in Rd 1 anyway.

i had him to dallas at first as well.

of course, it seems like you copied my template when making your picks (don't think i didn't notice - calling cameron irving o-line and b jones from uconn :)

Yeah, I figured you'd catch when I added Fisher and put OL and you put o-line...I was lazy to change it consistently throughout. Yours was the mock on top of mine with the names already typed. :)

why would he be against SD? they have a good QB and offensive coaching staff.

I put Gordon to Sand Diego in the celebrity Mock Draft contest I attended on this site that you bashed but I called correctly, Santa.

Happy for Peters going #18 . They got a good football player.

Irvin a great pick. Went higher than they predicted. He must be going to OG.

I want him. Hope we trade for him. Nick and I would be very excited to see what Gaily could do with that arm. Get Dorsett, Greene, or Lockett later in the draft. I would love trading for Mettenberger.

I would if their wasn't a prospect like hack in the upcoming drafts.

I believe he is the next luck type QB prospect.

A deal for Mettenberger would be quite nice, actually. With the way this has played out, that could work.

Well, I think Mettenberger can be the next Kerry Collins. I wonder if the Titans would take a future pick with playing incentives tied to it. I think he's a guy who could be a future B QB...maybe a little like Flacco.

Do you really think the Jets, after all their moves, are going to be in a position to draft him?

And if he is that lights out, no way will they be able to trade up for him.

Aghlor going ahead of Perriman is a surprise for me. Man I'd love to see us trade up and snatch Perriman at WR. I'd go from a little bummed to A+ draft in a heartbeat.

My thinking exactly it is not realistic to think we will have a legitimate shot at him.

Why I was hoping we traded down and another team gave us another pick for next year giving us more ammo.

Can you really plan that much for next year's draft, sacrificing this year? Especially when you have been aggressively making the team better for right now?

so this is probably highly unlikely, but i wonder if they could talk to the saints about a trade. saints took peat who we reportedly really like. saints could use an impact defensive player. peat and the #31 for williams???

PSU had a good recruitment class. I know every college fan hopes that. But Penn State got two big Wrs from Jersey and a speedster from VA. They focused on skill positions on the recruitment class.

Charles from Jersey is going to be a 6'4 215 true freshman

Johnson from Jersey is 6'4 220lbs true freshman.

Both 4 stars as was Polk (5'9 and ran a 4.35 40).
