It didn't really look good, but a Jets win just the same. Fitz played well. Ivory is this teams offensive MVP this season. The defense played well as always even despite being forced to defend for a long time due to the offense not having very time of possession. The bye week will serve the Jets well. They need to get some players healthy.

They had what? 12 penalties for 170 yards? You honestly think that would be good enough to beat the good teams in this league? You're crazy if you do.

Kudos to Brian Winters. We all feared Suh would eat his lunch but it didn't happen. Quite the contrary, Winters did a nice job at neutralizing Suh. He took a couple of bad penalties, but he run blocked and pass protected real well today.

But it still isn't good enough to beat the good teams in this league, so I'm not wrong. I am absolutely right. Just because they played probably the worst team in the league today (that's the way they are playing)and won is NOT the entire story.

Worked last night and didn't see the game but the stats make it seem that the Jets had a dominant game. The score doesn't but the stats do. Ivory with 166 and a TD, Marshall with 7/128 and Decker for 4/48 and a TD. Fitz with only one int looks good to me stats wise. Highlights showed the D sworming and this kid Williams showed probably be starting and yes I said it, even over Cro. Skrime is a beast also.

The offense is still very much a work in progress. Fitz is only OK for right now. He is NOT this teams leader for years to come. If he is? The Jets will NEVER get to the SB. But I'm happy to be 3-1.

BTW, don't look now but based on how the Jets are playing and the ease of their schedule? This team will probably 7-2 through 9 games. The Jets will get killed by the Patsies, but all of their other opponents, INCLUDING the Bills, are very beatable.
It's a win. I'll take a sloppy win over a pretty loss anyday of the week.

Decker was also at about 1/2 capacity. He played well and valiantly, but he needs to get healthy. When he's healthy is team is much better than they were today.
Today Brandon Marshall became the first Jets WR since Al Toon to have three consecutive 100+ Yards Receiving Games.
