When he had Robinson and an OL and O’Brien he was great. Jets have great WR’s and decent OL.
Guys, if you think about it even for a second, we HAD to draft a QB. Fitz is far from being signed, Petty is an unknown at best, and Geno....well, we all know how that one looks like.
We ARE desperate at the most important position in football.
I don't like this Hackenburg pick AT ALL but I'll trust in TB and Mac. Don't like his measurable either. The kid has 9" hands and with the cold, slick, windy, rainy and snowy NY-NJ weather, will he be able to hold onto to the ball and throw accurate passes? I hope he can and hope he prove me wrong. I'm personally pulling for Petty to come out on top here but won't be mad if Hackenburg does.
I need to see the next two picks but are we trying to win this year??? we could have taken a qb in round 4
"Great" may be embellishing just a tad. Less than 3,000 yards and 58.9% completion isn't exactly lighting it up, especially throwing to a talent like Allen Robinson.
Btw, this past year his completion % was 53.3. Pathetic for the college game. And it won't get easier in the NFL with tighter windows.

Petty came from a spread offense and Hack has experience under center and in pro style offense. I don't hate the pick because we have to find a QB.
I don't think Hackenburg will be the answer but hopefully he proves me wrong.
