So much for Washington not trading Su'a Cravens.
Cravens, the Washington safety who was drafted in the second round in 2016 and didn’t play at all in 2017, has been traded to Denver.
The deal features Denver giving up the 109th overall pick, the 142nd overall pick, the 163rd overall pick and a conditional 2020 sixth-round pick in exchange for Cravens, the 113th overall pick and the 149th overall pick, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Add all those picks up and it’s roughly the equivalent of Cravens being traded for a late fourth-round pick.
But, basically, Washington is getting a fifth-round pick and change for Cravens, whom coach Jay Gruden previously said they wouldn’t trade.
Denver gets a talented player, but one who has had concussion problems and has openly discussed potentially retiring. If Cravens is good to go in 2018, this looks like a good move for the Broncos. If not, Washington has to be thrilled just to get something for him.

[h=1]Lions sign Levine Toilolo to one-year deal[/h] The Lions have agreed to terms with free agent tight end Levine Toilolo on a one-year deal, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.
Toilolo spent the past five seasons with the Falcons after they made him a fourth-round choice. Atlanta cut him to save $3.5 million against their salary cap in 2018.
The Lions were desperate for help at the position after losing Eric Ebron and Darren Fells. They added Luke Willson last week, and now Toilolo fills the need for a blocking tight end.
He made only 12 receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown last season and has 74 catches for 723 yards and seven touchdowns in his career.
Ebron had 53 catches last season, and Detroit’s current tight ends have a combined 31 receptions.

The trade is for a 2019 conditional seventh-round pick, which basically means the Browns were about to cut Kessler and were glad to get anything for him at all.
As a rookie in 2016, Kessler started eight games and showed some promise. But in 2017 he was passed over for DeShone Kizer, and even when Kizer was benched the Browns went to Kevin Hogan instead of Kessler. Now Kessler gets a fresh start.
Now Kessler and Bortles are the only two quarterbacks under contract in Jacksonville.

The position is pretty crowded though so does know if Mac will persue him at this point.
Here's an interesting note for any of our Tebow followers. Tim is now playing on a local team in Binghamton. They are called the Rumble Ponies. They were originally called the B Mets but they changed the name. I guess they wanted to sound more like the little league team that they are. The stadium is about 25 minutes from my house and I've been by it hundreds of times but have never gone to a game there. We shop frequently near there.
