Breshad Perriman sprained his PCL in late July and he's still not back for the Ravens, though he's getting close, was running routes at half speed today, but it was basically a two months recovery for Perriman. Hopefully Decker is less severe.Free agent WR Corey Washington is working out for the Jets on Tuesday.
It's an indication the Jets expect Eric Decker (PCL) to miss some time.
Best case scenario. He's fine, but perhaps against the Eagles he is used on reduced snaps which will allow Devon Smith some game time!UPDATE
Sounds like this one is not nearly as severe as Perriman's. Bowles just said Decker had the MRI, its a sprained knee, he's day to day, hopeful he can play verses Philly, but he has to see how Decker runs this week.
That sounds like the best case scenario too me![]()

Indeed, and the ball is bouncing our way too.2nd bullet dodged (cromartie knee the other). need some luck to have a good year
Looks like Kerley may get some more game time this week!Owusu has a knee injury too, but it sounds like we dodged another bullet.
Bowles just said (with Michael Kay) that Owusu is projected to miss two games.
I still think its ridiculous that we are carrying 10 OL's, but thats where the fat needs to be cut to make room for another WR. Make a decision between Qvale, Winters and Dozier, cut the last guy on that list, and sign Pryor or Washington.Looks like Kerley may get some more game time this week!
Interesting to see if we bring in Washington or reinstate Powell by removing a fringe player!
Yeah - that's were I was thinking we had more than enough cover...I still think its ridiculous that we are carrying 10 OL's, but thats where the fat needs to be cut to make room for another WR. LOL IDK. Never heard anything about Kerley being a problem.I think even with Owusu's injury, i still feel Kerley wont see much action as Devin Smith will be playing this Sunday. That is of course if Deck cant play, then i'd say your probably right.
Yet at the same token, Enunwa is ahead of Kerley any way. Damn what the hell did Jeremy do to piss off the new regime??
I don't think he did anything wrong, Dan, other than being born small. I think Gailey just prefers BIG WR's in his system like Marshall, Decker, Enunwa and even Owusu whose a six-footer, as is Devin Smith.Damn what the hell did Jeremy do to piss off the new regime??

Look at the Receivers they brought in for workouts today, Pryor and Washington, both are BIG WR's.
I think they might make an exception for smurf WR's if they are burners who can stretch the field, but Kerley is not even particularly fast, he's basically a small possession WR, and I just don't think Gailey has any use for him in his system.
