So who would you prefer -- 2014 Mauldin or 2015 Harold?
That is a completely fair question.
And if you're telling me you're getting the 2013 Mauldin in the third round, I'll take it!

If he declared last year you would not have been able to touch him in the 3rd RD. If you go back and look at some of the archived draft rankings on the internet, you'll probably see that most draft sites entered the 2014 season expecting Mauldin to be no worse than an early 2 in this draft, and thats a conservative guess, quite a few probably pegged him as a potential first round pick. This kid entered the 2014 season with people expecting him to have a monster season. That is a completely fair question.

I think you meant to say 2013 Mauldin or 2014 Harold, and I would have to say Mauldin. The seasons they had were about the same, but I would have given the edge to Mauldin because he has more ideal size and he was a little better in 2013 than Harold was in 2014, he was more of a difference maker.
I liked Harold a lot this year, but after 2013 I thought Mauldin had a higher ceiling, more of a chance to become an elite edge rusher and not just a good one.
If IK ENEMKPALI is healthy next year and now adding Mauldin, we've got 2 potentially dangerous guys who can come of the edge and pressure the QB.
Gotta figure Jason Babin is out the door after this pick
Why trade back for more picks, when we will have well over 100 players reporting to camp already ? I like quality over quantity, and 12 good players came off the board while we waited from 70 to 82.
Go Jets...Cyborg
Unless they got the guy they wanted all along - then they just added more ammo for free . . .
