You are assuming that the gun is illegal? Maybe it is a licensed handgun. It's allowed. The speeding with a 12 yr old is just stupid. I am sure the NFL will test him today or tomorrow for pot but it could have been anyone in that car smoking. That being said, get rid of this idiot; but wait awhile as you would get nothing for him today. Put him in rehab and see if he can manage to finish the season strong. We already lost the upper hand so sit it out and see what happens. What a fool.

Clocked at 143 MPH, then fled when the cops told him to stop, then he stops and the car was reeking of weed, and he has a gun in the car too, and to cap it all off ... ALL THIS WITH A 12 YEAR OLD IN THE CAR, AND TWO WEEKS AFTER HE WAS SUSPENDED FOR MULTIPLE FAILED DRUG TESTS.

He says he is not a dope fiend but every time there is a story about him marijuana is involved. It's like if you come home from work early 3 times a year and your kid is smoking weed every time. Probably you should infer that he is smoking weed every day. Additionally, depression, which he claims to be suffering, is a side-effect of long-term use. I would agree with you if he told the team about the July 14th arrest. However he made them look like idiots by hiding until the media broke the story.
