Reviewing this thread reminded me how pleasant things have been around here lately - interpret that as you wish.

In regards to Sheldon he better come back with the chip Brady always seems to have when he wants to prove something. There's no better ending to this than for Sheldon to knock Brady down a few pegs (or out of the game) . . .

Maybe Sheldon gets a get out of jail card because Goddell wants Sheldon to even the score.

I fully expected the league to add to his 4 game suspension, but perhaps they have learned not to pre-empt the legal system. I recall that Richardson has claimed innocence, so my guess is that the league will wait until his case is adjudicated. Looking forward to seeing his angry ass back in the lineup.

I doubt the Eagles would have gotten the chunks of yardage on the ground either. His presence makes everyone better along the DL, because they will be fresher. Williams be the biggest beneficiary IMO, he will come off the bench and make an impact as a pass rusher.

Was just thinking the same thing. The Jets have been uncharacteristicly giving up chunks of big yards on the ground. Not used to seeing that. Sheldon should be a big presence against that when he's back.

I was upset too, I was thinking he was stupid and arrogant and careless and reckless, and I still do, but man, I just want to see him do his thing on the field.
