Like that Smith kid as a potential LG option
I follow UT Vols football pretty closely and have watched Smith over his career in Knoxville. Immensely talented kid with a big heart and good character. After his freshman year, he was a lock for the first round at OT perhaps OG but the lung condition derailed that probability in his soph season. It was questioned whether he'd even play again. He did, but practiced very little if at all his Jr season but still played very well. This past year he was only so-so which accounts for his mediocre draft ranking. Not sure what happened last year but it is concerning. The entire Vol offense was poor, so there's that. He might be a steal in 3rd or 4th round which is where I've seen him fall in mock drafts.

think he'll last that long?
his stock has been rising since his pro day but you never know... his adp was 172 but his ranking has been rising up the ranks last I saw was 126...

We still have an unknown talent in Cameron Clark at one of the guard positions. There is quality in the 3rd to 5th Rds for Offensive linemen with Quinn Meinerz, Landon Dickerson, James Hudson, Spencer Brown, Trey Smith.

Teven Jenkins an offensive tackle is a top-heavy blocker that has experienced success in the team's Air Raid offense, some project him as a guard at the next level but his edge blocking ability could allow him to stay at tackle but is he he waste for us who already have a blind side tackle... We have needs at guard, and like @Retired AFA has repeatedly stated there are plenty of IOL in round three where we have two picks to fill the void...

Rds 1 and 2 could be used to add quality players if one of the premier Guards don't fall to us (Alijah Vera-Tucker, Christian Darrisaw, Tevin Jenkins). what if Micah Parsons is still on the board at #23, or CB Greg Newsome. Would CB Ifeatu Melifonwu be a reach at #23. Edge Greg Rousseau is a possibility. Also RB's Najee Harris and Travis Etienne. There is good value at #23 other than a Offensive linemen.
