What I think I know about this situation is that I perceive the Jets to be the better team than Buffalo. For me, Buffalo is nothing more than an OK defense with one great offensive weapon in Watkins. Other than that, I find them to be inferior in every way possible. But thinking that borders on stupidity as the Bills beaten the Jets for two season now. In regards to results on the field, Buffalo is the much better team.
It is necessity that the Jets win this game. If they lose, their chances of making the payoffs are greatly reduced. The percentages for 0-2 teams making the playoffs are not good. This is a MUST win.........

Every game is difficult. Though lets not diminish the fact that KC, Seattle, Pittsburgh and Arizona have to face US. We're a solid squad. We're no push over by no stretch of the imagination. Those same teams look at us the same way we're game planning against them.
Heck, if we start 0-2 then win the next 4, what would people say then? I'am just stating that we are as tough as the next 4 opponents. We played Cincy hard and lost by corrrectable miscues. Make no mistake, Cincy is a very good team....but i'am sure as hell they do not want to face us again this season in the playoffs.
Playing up in Buffalo is no easy task but we will bring our "A" game as this team and coaching staff has not forgotten what transpired last season at the Bills expense.
I'am telling ya brother, we're a damn good team. Also, the last time we lost our opener was in 2010. A very winnable game vs Baltimore. Though because of a correctable mistake (pass to the flat to Dustin Keller not knowing where he went out of bounds) we lost the match. Season wasn't over. We went on to have a remarkable season. Especially beating Pittsburgh at their house for the first time in our history.
IMHO, we have a much better and talented team than the '10 Jets.
(Gonna be a fun year...This team will shock many of their own fanaics)

Here's how I see that tough schedule .
Buffalo- The streak has to end - payback
KC - tough at home but needed a big comeback vs SD- overrated
Seattle- should have lost to dolphins at home - East coast trip not easy
Pittsburg - beat up on Wash who has no Defense- Steelers have no secondary
Cardinals - are very good at home - See Garrapollo , Fitzgerald scares me.

I came away from the Cincy game feeling like we have a good team, as well. Despite losing, they looked good in many facets of the game. Even the Fitzpatrick INT at the end was a bit lucky on that CB's part. He wasn't even facing the ball, and the throw wasn't exactly terrible. Decker didn't have inside position.
My original point was just that I don't want the Jets in a 2-4 or 1-5 hole to start the season. That's a tough hole to climb out of. We're on the road for 4 outta the next 5, against top tier football teams (after Buffalo). If the Jets can manage 3-3 by the end of this brutal stretch, they're fine IMO. The rest of the schedule isn't too bad at all.
The one thing everybody is forgetting is the weather. Buffalo in Nov or Dec is different than in Sept. We have the better team and with warm weather on National TV we win this one easily. Sheldon Richardson will bring a bit of extra energy to the pass rush and get to the QB early. I see the bounce of the ball going to us this time. The Refs will call an honest game on Thursday night. We win.

The Bills have declared their starting LT, Cordy Glenn, OUT for this game with an ankle injury.
Glenn is one of the best LT's in the league.
HUGE HIT for Buffalo considering the strength of our D-line, but we have to make it matter!

Our DL must be licking their chops. Hopefully we force the Bills into a ton of turnovers, and score a bunch of 7's off of those turnovers.

I wish we still has Rex as our HC, at least right now it is plain to see that Rex is a better HC than Todd Bowles, no doubt about it..........

I'am gonna go out on a limb here and say we win the next 5. I really like our team man. Reminds me alot of the '98 squad. Not calling Bowles Parcells, but you can tell by his presser on Monday that he will not stand for mediocrity or lose games by mistakes that have no bushiness being committed to cost us games.
I honestly felt we were a much better team than Cincy last Sunday and the team knows it very well. These next 5 weeks will be very fun.
I always liked Rex, but truth be told, he game plans mostly on emotion. I feel time will tell with Todd. 10-6 first season wasnt too shabby.
And if Bowles wins tomorrow night, he's the better HC, right?

Sure, but he won't win it... In fact, I was just coming on here to let everyone know if Bowles manages to f*ck this game up tonight??? Say goodbye to any possibility to the Playoffs. The percentages of teams that make the playoffs go way down and the Jets have much, much, much harder opponents before it gets any better..........
