Now here's a mock draft for the Jets I would love.
I wanted defense in this defensive of a draft. We are in a perfect position of a Top 3 player falling into our laps or a team wanting to trade up for a QB. Maybe Oakland would give up their 4th and 24th for #3. Possibly another trade down grabbing Risner to play Center and Dillard or Ford to play Guard.

My fear with Bosa is he is always hurt just like his brother. And Nick is already damaged goods. I hope he isn't on the board at our pick.
Draft Wire's mock draft
Please let this be the one
Drumroll please.......
1. Arizona Cardinals | Quinnen Williams | DL | Alabama
2. San Francisco 49ers | Nick Bosa | EDGE | Ohio State
3. New York Jets | Josh Allen | EDGE | Kentucky
The only scenario I'm really happy with

TCT, I am known by every person who knows me as the most negative person alive. of course I blame it on a lifetime of Jet fandom, but I think you definitely give my negativity a run for the money. I don't usually do new years resolutions, but this year I am doing one. My new years resolution is to be more negative then you:global (45):
My only question with Josh Allen is there a scheme fit issue with him.

Being a Jersey boy didn't help Wilkerson.Josh Allen was a beast at Kentucky with 17 sacks and 5 forced fumbles last year. (He’s also originally from NJ). The only question is scheme fit. He looks like a 3-4 edge rusher. If Williams is emphasizing a 4-3, it might not be a fit.
Those stats are eye popping. I’m not certain Allen drops to 3 anyway. He could go 1 or 2 ahead of Bosa. His stock is going to rise as the draft nears. Just watch.
I don’t think I’d have a problem with any of those three guys ending up on the Jets. They’re all great players.

Most people assume they are taking Nick Bosa, but ...
They have Chandler Jones and Golden at the DE's and both can make the switch to 3-4 OLB if the Cards switch to a base 3-4. These two players have scheme versatility in that respect, and one Cardinals fan told me they believe Golden will be 100% healthy next year and back to his 2016 Pro Bowl form.
I got this directly from a Cardinals fan who lives in Arizona and seems really plugged into what the Cardinals are thinking, and he also assured me they LOVE Quinnen Williams and thats who they are picking if they can't trade down for more picks, which every team in the top three (Cards, 49ers and Jets) are hoping for, but if they have to stay at #1 he insisted they have a much bigger need at DT in the 4-3 or DE in the 3-4 than they do at DE or OLB in either scheme, and they LOVE Quinnen Williams.
Well I looked at the Cardinals depth chart and at least so far as needs are concerned, and scheme versatility, he wasn't just blowing smoke. He was right on both counts, so his insistence that the Cards will take Q if they remain at #1 makes sense to me, and I can easily see why they love Q.
