literally Mike White this is his rookie season as this season he was on the active roster
he may not have been a literal rookie but it was his first time this year to see live action which makes him a rookie and he performed well and he performed like a rookie but you will never see the difference because you want to give the leeway to only Zach, that is fine that is your view but don't argue with me you will lose
What you guys fail to understand is that it’s your right to support Zach just as it’s TCT’s right to be critical . He doesn’t have to agree with you guys and you guys don’t have to agree with him . Here is the difference. I don't care that you support Wilson or anyone else. You and another member hate that I supported Sam so long. You want to prove me wrong so bad. Well guess what? Guys….. we are off the rails here. I started the thread talking about Zach and his progression. I was wondering if my fellow Jet fans thought he was starting to progress or not? I don’t know how we got to Mike White, Sam Darold or Kurt Warner? If TCT liked and supported Sam, who cares? It his right to support who he liked and believed in…. Just as DWC likes to support Zach. As fans, we should support our starting QB whoever he is because he is on our team.
What did you think was going to happen when you broached the subject of Zach Wilson with the opinions here ? If you don’t agree that Wilson is the greatest thing since slice cheese it’s going to be a problem for some .

I just didn't think it was electric. I was impressed he didn't go out of bounds. It was a good run just not that exciting to me. Do it this week or next and I'm as excited (well maybe not) as DWC.

I don’t care about him running. We drafted him because of his magic arm not his fancy feet . Hit the receivers in stride on a consistent basic and all my doubts go away . The kid is improving and I am coming around . He’s no longer “Opie” .
If we wanted a dual threat at QB we should have drafted the kid in Chicago .
I'm fine with him running electrically with nobody chasing him at full speed. Its like scoring an empty net goal in hockey.

#42 on their D did chase him down "at full speed".
Zach is faster than he looks., so once he broke containment and their line and blitzers couldn't match him to the sidelines, bc they were gassed. The coverage was man, so the action of the play saw covering defenders on the other side of the field.
was the play Young against Vikes good? no.
was it Randall leaping GMen good? no.
so, i get where you're coming from as a not electric run in comparison to other great QB Runs.
However, I have to give it electric for the fanbase this year...the only other highlight reel material are the TN Deep Ball, the Olineman TD Catch, and the Berrios TD Return. I admit to a "Holy $h!t...he's gonna break it" come flyin' outta my pie-hole.
