There is no good reason for the Jets to not hire Jim Leonard, unless, he has changed his mind about being willing to come here. He accepted an interview which indicates genuine interest. He is not getting hired by any other team. The opinion league wide is that he is a terrific option and by far the best on the Jets list of 8. He is available to sign a contract, right now. If the Jets don't sign him, they should get it done today, they are beyond stupid and that would piss me off to the point where I might finally, after 57 years, say screw this team and stop being a fan.

LOL, yes I did. It hard to believe that those two words could be used in the same sentence based on Jets history but if the Jets don't start right now, this off season, making good sense decisions I can't continue to support them. Woody has decided, I guess, to give Glenn a pass on this horrible excuse of a season. I get that. It's his first time as a head coach. He deserves to be cut some slack. Mouge is a first timer too but at least his decisions have been fairly reasonable. Glenn, not so much. I'm old. I'm running out of patience with this organizations front office and coaching staff. They have turned this team into so much of a mockery that I'm embarrassed to tell anyone that I'm a Jets fan. Wink isn't a bad coach but his football knowledge is stale and he's been out of coaching awhile. Leonhard is current with how football is played today. He excels at coaching and teaching and has shown himself to have a very good defensive mind. He is heads and tails a better, more qualified candidate for a DC position than Wink. Unless the immediate future of the Jets defense looks bright no players, especially QBs, will want to play here. If they pass on Leonard to hire Wink I will have a very hard time seeing that as smart.

The good news is, this will get brady out of retirement to stop all his records from being broken. I hear he has given up on liposuction and bad cosmetic surgery and he’s now looking into bionics in case he needs to return

I know, but he has sort of gotten used to reading my post in stages so he'll be alright. Second. If I stop being a fan I won't waste any time watching games. I will probably still check on you guys from time to time to make sure none of you have taken long walks off short piers because of the utter stupidity of this teams support staff.

I'm back already.............I just read multiple articles claiming that Wink isn't a shoe-in for the DC job, BECAUSE, get this..........Glenn is considering keeping Harris as his DC but calling the plays himself. He couldn't handle the head coaching job last season but now he wants to do both. Unfu***ng believable.

Other teams wanted him but because his team was still playing they couldn't do in person interviews or sign him. Gotcha covered. That being said, none of them have NFL experience until they get experience. I understand the Jets fan base completely. They are FRUSTRATED by an organization that just can't seem to get it right.
