"I think these guys are better (than we were)," Joe Klecko told ESPN.com on Friday in a phone interview. "They have three dominant pass-rushers. I firmly believe they'll chase records."

With improved pass coverage and an already strong pass rush, the Jets have a chance to be special on defense.

LOL -- 54 receptions for 834 yards in 21 regular season games with Tebow under center.

But that's OK -- he had four good catches against Pitt, so I guess that's more than Suh would have brought to the table . . .

Tebow completing 54 passes in a season, let alone to one guy, means the guy is a miracle worker. Give me a damN break. You have to have a 29 yard catch radius to catch a Tebow ball longer than 5 yards. Come on, man.

So how much better would he have been with Sanchez/Tebow?

You're proving my point -- a great WR will be hurt by a crappy QB more than he'll help him. The only guy who hurt Suh was Suh.

I could be wrong, but if we drafted White it would've been a season of "just wait until we get a real QB". With Williams, it's gonna be "I can't believe this guy dropped into our laps" . . .

Making your pOint? a great WR with a piss poor QB led the Broncos to a road playoff victory in Pl ittsburgh...when has a DT ever done that? Never.

And stopped 45 point, no. But great wrs can make a qb...see mark Sanchez getting to 2 afc games with Braylon and Holmes carrying him.

If you think Braylon/Holmes helped Mark more than a strong OL/running game, I'll just assume you didn't watch football those years.

By your logic, Peat/Gurley would have been better picks to help our QB situation than White.

But that's OK -- you keep grabbing WRs in the hopes you win a random playoff game, and I'll keep stacking the defense in the hopes we create a SB contender . . .
