btw - i recalled the above convo from last night. when i suggested that perhaps one of mo or williams was gonna be traded, your response seemed to indicate that you didn't see the point in trading for a pick lower than 6. but isn't that what "trading down" requires?

FYI namath gets credit because of the guarantee but as much as i like namath he only had 170 yds in that SB it was the jets defense that won that game and boozer and snell.

One benefit of having Williams will be in the negotiations with Mo Wilkerson; If Mo demands are ridiculous, we can trade him or keep him to his rookie contract for one more year.

There's a play he made last year that looked a lot like that play Jadaveon Clowney made that went viral, where he shoots the gap, eviscerates the RB, and the ball pops loose. I wish there was a GIF for that one.

From a Jets perspective, there's NO WAY Thomas becomes the player he did without Payton behind center, and from a Denver perspective I'd say they'd be better team today with Suh on their line and "some other WR" catching touchdowns left and right from Payton . . .
