For those who are saying bye-bye MO, I respectfully disagree.

IMO this pick does not precipitate the exit of Mo Wilkerson, it precipitates a shift to the 4-3, and we're all about to see what a SUPER UNIT looks like on the D-line. This is now officially the best four man front we have had since the Sack Exchange, with a terrific five man run/pass rotation too.

This has the potential to be the most feared D-line in all of football, and with our secondary, that spells H-E-L-L for QB's.

Jets used the entire clock and couldn't work out a deal and grabbed BPA. Too bad to lose a hometown talent for a likely step down in Williams.

Sucks to use a top 10 pick to likely get worse long term.

I think every one that thinks MO is getting traded is "misguided " to say the least and say it politely...

We will see a variety of fronts and the DL will rotate and stay fresh. If no trades, watch for a lot of 4-2-5

At first I was stunned, but this SOB is and IMHO will be the next Ndumukong Suh. That's how good this guy is. I liked White very much, but you just cant', and absolutely cannot pass up a kid that has Warren Sapp potential.

Plus, this makes Mo expendable. Don't get me wrong, he's outstanding and like him a lot. Though it all depends if the right scenario presents itself. There is no rush anyway to trade Wilkerson at all, he still comes cheap this year. But it wouldn't surprise me if we trade him within the next two hours for Gurley.

BTW, does this mean that Quinton Coples goes back to the D line? The linebacker experiment has been marginal at best. Coples has always played his best ball since becoming a Jet when he's playing on the D line.

Agree 100%. It's called leverage which the Jets have let's trust Mac and he stayed true to his board BPA. I would of loved White but once we saw White on TV and saw our guy on the phone I knew he was our guy

I sure would have rather gotten Kevin White. Its more of a need position. What happens next year if we take a DT (BPA). You going to say, "Hey great move!)

Honestly, I don't know what to think.....it's kinda of an annual thing. My exact reaction to drafting Sheldon Richardson a couple years ago was "W T F" and that turned out well.
