I really still don’t get the philosophy here .
Jets need a bridge QB . Have one ( probably the best best teacher of the position available ) . Aaron has stated he’d be on board with this .
The Jets still don’t want him . So now you need a bridge QB and a future young replacement.
It’s just mind boggling to me . And don’t give me he’s this selfish all me guy . I haven’t heard that from one player actually they all love him .
I’m hearing countless possibilities at QB . Think they really have a plan ? I doubt it.

Sounds nothing like me. I'm on board with getting rid of Rodgers. @Bigmoe hates me now. My reasoning for getting rid of Rodgers is we won 5 games with him and I no longer think he is a competent starter. At best he is a bridge QB. He brings way too much baggage for 5 wins. I definitely don't think Tyrod Taylor is better, but he is less of a hassle. Get through this next season with Tyrod and then move him to back up or dump him altogether. We need to cleanse this franchise of the last 6 years and especially the last 2.

What difference does that make?
So you're saying they won 4 with Rodgers and agreeing they will be just as bad without Him next Season?
BTW, that is based on the Jets eating all contracts and taking it on the chin next season so the new regime could go with "their guys".

Just my opinion, releasing Rodgers wasn't the right or wrong decision. It was the only decision.
The financial ramifications would cost us several young players. Reload vs full rebuild. Most importantly culture.Rodgers is a distraction and brings so much outside noise that it's not possible to instill a football first culture.
On top of that he is a year older and could easily get injured again. This team doesn't need a $100 million dollar bridge QB. We're not a super bowl contender this season with or without him.

Since they’re going to suck anyway, can they just forfeit the season now and not have to actually play any games

we could all post the same posts as every year without having to waste the time watching the shit.

heck, I put the games on now and still don’t pay attention enough to actually say I watched them
