So Rodgers is going to go to a playoff team (Steelers) and put them in the playoffs. Having previously gone to a non-playoff team (Jets) and not put them in the playoffs. A difference-maker like this can surely name his own salary with any of the other 30 franchises.

They went to the playoffs last year so that would be the minimum expected.
If he’s as bad as you guys say, he couldn’t take anyone to the playoffs

putting the jets in the playoffs would have been considered an act of God

he isn’t naming his salary on 30 teams because there aren’t 30 teams willing to sign an old guy for what’s most likely a year. There may not be any, but that doesn’t mean Rodgers isn’t as good as most qbs out there if he were on the same team as them

I‘ll be surprised if he goes to a team that has an offensive line and doesn’t look totally different than he looked on the cursed franchise. You can bet on it. Just ask @Bigmoe

the afc is loaded with top tier coaches and top tier QBs. It’s not Tom Brady’s afc anymore. Can Rodgers get the Steelers out of the first round? Maybe not, but given the competition, that’s not an easy thing

If Rodgers goes somewhere else, he will look totally different than he looked on the Jets…. And the jets will look just as bad with who takes his place. @TebowCan'tThrow and @beresford you should know this
I'm fine looking bad next year. Aaron Rodgers doesn't make the team better. Zach Wilson won 7 games the year before with only one WR. In 11 games with Adams, the Jets won 3 games. I just don't think Rodgers is any better than Tyrod at this point which means Rodgers should retire because thats a long fall from where he once was. The Jets need to move on. Why do some of y'all want to endure one more meaningless year with AR? I don't hate Rodgers and he and the Jets tried.

I know some think Tyrod sucks, but he is more than competent. He gets hurt a lot, but I watched another lifeless performance by the Jets and Rodgers vs Buffalo. Tyrod immediately infused life into the team and threw 2 TD's.

Let's look back at Rodgers big wins. He beat a team picking #1, #4 and #5. He beat the worst team to make the playoffs in the AFC. And then to top it off he beat Tyler Huntley. Thats not worth wasting another season on. He had one game over 300 and that took 3 years.

I’m just not a fan of all the money wasted by sending him away when I don’t think he sucks as bad as some of you think. He was hit hard by the curse after 4 plays and never fully recovered

when I watched any of his interviews or any players answers to questions about Rodgers, I got a totally different feeling than what reporters spewed

Keeping him for another wasted year would have cost more than double. We interviewed what 26 coaches and none wanted Rodgers on the roster if hired.

They may still go out and sign another old Qb according to reports which would than cost as much as just keeping Rodgers. And let’s not forget, Rodgers was willing to rework his deal in which case it could have been cheaper to keep him depending on the rework

and did the coaches really not want him? I’ve read plenty of conflicting reports on all of this. All news is probably fake news

It wouldn't be any where near as expensive as keeping Rodgers to sign a one year bridge QB . Rodgers was willing to rework his deal, same as 2 years ago. Convert $to signing bonus or future void years. Plus everything hinges on his "tentative" return to football. He still has not committed to playing another season.
The hired coach didn't want him at the end of the day, that's the only one that matters.
