I live in New England, and I'm disappointed in how hypocritical and juvenile their fan base is. For as sophisticated a city as Boston is, the sports fans may be among the lowest of the low. Not Philadelphia low, as nobody is that bad, but pretty low.

Not sure if this was meant for me but I'm not even from Boston or MA even. Aside from that what exactly in my post makes me uppity as you say? Is it because I'm not particular worried about losing Vince Wilfork as Sack thinks I should be? Fans perspective range from all over the place and you can lump them all in on category if you like but mine are my own and right wrong or indifferent I can back them all up with more than just the incredible amount of hate and jealousy a lot of you seem to have here.

Aside from Pats fans, I love it up here. I'd prefer to be in CT, where it's more border territory between the NY and Boston markets, and the part of MA where I am now isn't the best, but so be it.

You guys really are just like the Yankees fans you claim to hate (no offense to the Yankees fans among our Jets fan base). New England sports fans bash Yankees fans all the time for being arrogant and entitled, for having the league in their pocket.

Yet, when it comes to football, you act exactly like the worst of the Yankees fan base. Just in that post, you pull one of the typical arrogant Yankees fan lines. "You're just jealous." "Kiss the rings." "The Yankee Way."

Everything you guys claim to hate, you are.

One question..whats your ultimate motive to being on here..??....Gloat? Inspire us with your "opinion" ? Twist the knife a little ?? Why not offer all that stuff on the Pats board ??

I'm sure that would be your wish, but I'll bet you were also in the group that thought they couldn't find a replacement for Welker yet Edlman jumps in and is even better. The bottom line is they usually find a way, and it's never a zero sum game, if one unit takes a step back and another unit takes a step forward, where's the balance lie? Sorry if I don't jump off a bridge panicking but I've seen it all I terms of, "how are you going to replace "Fill in the blank player!!!!", and yet one way or another the Pats end up being one of the last teams playing in January/February every year. Look it may sound cocky and you may hate it as a rival fan, I know I would, but the fact remains, save for Brady there isn't a player on the team that can't be replaced.

Sorry, but when he comes here to talk about how the Pats always get their guy, and how jealous Jets fans are, and why would anyone want to go to the Jets and struggle to win six games when they can win a title with the Patriots, that seems like trolling to me.

two wrongs don't make a right, and to me, the stuff posted by jets fans was probably worse than the stuff he said. just my opinion

i understand what your saying and you have good football knowledge please post more.........sometimes as jets fans we automatically think any pats fan is a troll..........just because of the rivalry but as long as you respect and talk football no deliberate trolling all is welcome.

ps i think the plug and play system works for beli because the pats cheat but that is just me.

I'm not exactly sure how I'm trolling or "digging it in" as some are saying. Sack asked a question and I responded with reasons I felt the way I do based on real facts, experience, and history, what else would I say to back up my opinion? Additionally where Revis ends up is hugely important to both Pats and Jets fans so why would I want a Jets fans perspective? Look I've seen Trolls, we all have but there is nothing I've posted that is baiting or trolling?

Thank you for the civil post, my intent is absolutely not to troll, I personally can't stand them regardless of what team they root for. It's waste of time and all you end up with is people pointing fingers back and forth saying "your team sucks, no your team sucks more" it's a waste and juvenile, yet that seems to be the only level of communication some are capable of.

it's a new board and we all are not used to how this board will be moderated but trust me we will learn.
