Sarge is righr, they need a RT to push fluke inside...but I saw higher value here at RB... I also thought about a WR to pair with Allen...but I felt franchise RB was most bang for your buck. I think Gordon, Gurkey, and maybe even Duke Johnson would be gone by their next pick (and I feel there is a big drop off after those 3). I don't think you can take Gurley this high with the risk he won't be ready for week 1. Could HYATT be right and he's another Matthews? Maybe. But they need to come out of this draft with a #1 RB...even if he is only ready for 15 carries and 4 balls out of the backfield a game...they don't even have that guy on their roster today.

I was hoping he would drop to me. It was a good pick. A need pick for the Bolts.

The EAGLES SELECT......... LANDON COLLINS S ALABAMA

I won't have access to my computer till around 4 pm. if the draft is flowing then green ham step in and take the best selection for the Broncos(my next pick).
If not then read you guys later.

Collins is the top safety in the draft and a solid pick, you have to wonder if they'll regret passing on a couple of strong corners still available like Kevin Johnson or Byron Jones for a traditional in the box Safety, even a top notch one like Collins

I feel silly adding any color to Collins when I am piggy backing off an experts quote, but here's my thoughts:

Collins was recognized at this class' top safety all season long, and even projected as high as a top 10 pick during points of this college season. A two year starter at Bama, he improved greatly from one season to the next. He's a safety that isn't afraid to stick his nose in the fire, come up, and make the big hit. He has the size at 6'0 230lbs, but ran a 4.5 40 and displayed great range at Bama. led the team in tackles last year with 105 but also showed coverage ability with 5 career picks. If there was going to be a safety in rd 1, he was going to be it, and he provides position flexibility with his ability to cover and flash against the run. Can likely play either safety position at the next level.

hahahahaha,

he was my dream pick for if he fell to the Panthers...I probably wouldnt have taken him...but I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see beckham or strong playing opposite benjamin...I dont think many teams outside of us could match up with those guys...

Mike Tomlin and the Steelers Braintrust have to be thrilled at the options here - 2 highly rated CBs and some good value along the offensive line

Me too, and Im 3 picks back. ;) However, the first page of picks so far today havent been updated and I believe Green Jets & Ham is up...the same guy not updating page 1 :)
