Remembering last off season and the start of training camp,B. Marshall and Geno were living together and working out. The start of training camp if memory serves me well, B. Marshall wouldn't even take passes from Fitzpatrick. What a difference a year makes.
Right now, Fitzpatrick is the best option at QB for the Jets. I also think last year was his absolute ceiling. No matter what he signs for, i believe, he will not duplicate last years numbers. Maybe if the Jets defense plays even better than last year, which it should, that'll be good enough to get to last years record. Especially if the special teams improves.
Camps open, Let's Go Jets.
After surgery Revis might improve over last year's uninspiring performance, Cromartie was a shell out there. So a healthy Revis, Williams in the mix, and skrine make me feel like the secondary is improved. Milner could be a nice piece.
Our line has another year together, and we have youth and speed at lb. I think all 3 units will be improved.
Special teams can't be worse.
If Clady returns to form, our o line is improved and certainly capable.
I feel Forte is a net positive over ivory because of ivory inconsistency at staying on the field.
Amaro should make the te position a threat.
Our WR's have another year in the system, and I like peake and his potential.
I feel Fitz will have another 30td season with the added threats of Forte and Amaro. That gives him 5 short to mid range threats on the field.
If geno plays, his long ball potential certainly adds to the offense.
