Every team has some holes. This franchise is stacked at DL and pretty solid at LB, so the front seven is strong. The secondary is either too old (Revis) or too inexperienced and inept. Big holes there. I hold out hope that Pryor can be a legit SS, and Marcus Williams a true #2 CB. But there's still a big long-term need at #1 CB and FS. Skrine could be a legit nickel, but by the time the rest of the team is legit, he may be done.
Offensively, the line is aging fast. Winters can be a legit starting guard for the future. But there are future holes at both tackles and center. No TE. Enunwa is on the verge of becoming a top WR in this league, and there are other very good young WRs on the roster. A QB absolutely has to develop out of the two kids. RB is older, but can be addressed.
We know what the holes are. Can they all be addressed for the long-term? If a QB develops and at least some of the holes, like OL and secondary, are addressed, the team absolutely can be a legit contender, depending on how good the QB is.
