I wonder how gutless Amaro would be if he was limited in the Super Bowl because of a bad ankle, but was out dancing all night to celebrate the loss.
It's amazing. For someone who claims to so dispassionately observe football without regard for team bias, you always seem to overhype Patriots and understate Jets.
actually, gronk dropped more balls than amaro last year (7 vs 6). granted it was on a lot more attempts.

gronk seemed to have a very good rookie year, as i can't even find him on the list of drops. interestingly, the league leader in drops in 2010 (gronk's rookie year) was wes welker, with 13. aaron hernandez (also a rookie in 2010) had 7 drops that year, good for #16 that year.

Where did I ever say that? I stated my opinion on this topic nothing more. Are you attacking Jet fans who also think it was a dumb unnecessary comment? I doubt it, heck in one of my first responses to this thread I said it I would think it was a dumb unnecessary comment for any player on any team including mine. The only bias here is yours, you be more honest if you just came out and admitted the obvious fact that the only time your ok with a Patriot fan posting on this site is if they are throwing roses at everything the Jets do.
Agreed, drops are only comparable in relative reference to similar opportunities, and conditions to a degree. In Amaro's case the mention of drops was only in relation to weather or not one would think it would be good judgment for a relatively young player with that many drops after his first season to be openly critical of the exiting staff. As I've said I think it's bush league think to do by a player with very little credibility to do so. Others can feel different if the choose.
We'll agree to disagree. Amaro's quote was quite harmless and he didn't mention Rex by name. As I stated before, he probably was baited by a reporter's question. If some veterans are annoyed at a young ascending player for talking about work ethic and accountability, then maybe those said veterans should be worried about their job security.
In the NFL the star players set the tone for an organization. Brady for the Pats. Revis and Wilkerson for the Jets. Other players on the Jet roster probably don't even know about Amaro's statements and it probably won't be brought up in camp.
You're making a mountain out of a molehill.
he wasn't being critical of the existing staff. he said that he liked how the new staff seems to hold players to higher standards and level of accountability and he hopes that's the case. for this, you labeled him a gutless tool.
again, you seem to be making a mountain out of a molehill, and one has to wonder that if this weren't a jets player making the comments, if you would have used as harsh language and made as strong of a condemnation of a player for saying he hopes his new coaches hold players accountable.

Are you seriously denying having ever said this?
"I actually judge things based on facts, dispassionately regardless of the team I root for."
When facts are in question yes, this is my opinion on what he said, are you chasing around Jet fans that also think what he said is bush league?
Well for a change you got one thing right by linking Gronkowski and dumb things in the same post
So you are denying having said it?
No that's accurate, facts are facts and I like to use facts as the basis of my opinions as much as possible. You see Sack, when you try and gather facts, and form your opinions out of them it doesn't meant you're always going to be right, but I promise you that you'll be correct more often than you will be just running around waving Pom Poms. I honestly don't know how to say it any clearer to you, I believe that what Amaro said was unnecessary and bush league, you are welcome to believe whatever you like.
And there we have it. Nothing but trolling.
And there you have it from Sack, if have a different opinion than his on a topic it = trolling.
Hardly. You clearly don't know me very well.
There are plenty of people here with whom I have disagreed, on this board and older ones. Yet I am only calling you a troll, none of the others. And I am not alone in pointing out that you're a troll.
HA!
Hell, 55, we've disagreed a ton. Probably called each other a few choice names. But I never called you a troll.
