Kevin, That mock draft is for all teams draft, mine here is just for the Jets. And I'm still waiting for your Jet board predictions, so you won't flip on us again this year. Put it in writing 55 ?
Go Jets...Cyborg
I see you've already changed your picks twice...who's the flip flopper? Make a pick and stand by it. You're worse than a politician.
In 2 words - Kelvin Benjamin.2nd rd: best WR (I'm really loving Dorias Green-Beckham size, speed and potential) and I think his off the field issues will push him into this rd.

Raw as sushi, thought to probably fall to Rd 2, (like Hill), and wound up picked at #28 by Carolina.
DG-B is the same guy, with a little baggage, but GMs still remember the Randy Moss fall back in '98 and WILL NOT allow themselves to get snookered like that again with so much talent riding on a troubled player.
It's why CLE drafted Josh Gordon (2013 Rd 2 used in the 2012 supplemental) and Dallas drafted #24 Dez Bryant so high - IN SPITE OF their excessive baggage.
Hyatt +1 agree. IMO this years WR class is going to turn out better than last years SUPER class of WR's. In the 2 months time I've been raving about Eli Harold, his name has become common place. I watch UVA games and this kid 6'4"/245 is light in the a$$, but just as fast as Beasley. Plus Eli comes out of a 3-4 Defense where he was a DE most of the time, but so is Ray, Beasley, Dupree, Armstead or Gregory. I want Amari & Eli.

Eli Harold is another guy in this draft who almost certainly will not slip into Rd 2.
At some point a pass rush-needy GM, (4-3 DE or 3-4 OLB) is going to look at who is left on the board and take Harold late in Rd 1 or risk not getting a top pass rusher at all this year.
How soon in Rd 1 will depend on the run on LBs & DEs in a class with very limited numbers of elite prospects at those positions.
Don't forget, Harold will ALSO be on the boards of 4-3 defense teams as a DE, not just 3-4 defense teams needing an OLB pass rusher.
He's something of a "Bruce Irvin -light" kind of player.
Remember this as well.
For a GM, it is MUCH easier to explain a failed Todd Blackledge Rd 1 pick than it is to explain away passing on a Rd 1 Dan Marino pick.
Know your own history - the Jets selected Ken O'Brien at #24, and left #27 Marino for the Dolfish.
To this day, Jim Kensil is reviled by Jets fans for making that choice, even though O'Brien was arguably the most successful QB in Jets history after Broadway Joe. (Pennington is also in that discussion.)
KC GM Schaff lasted at least one more year as GM than Kensil did, as a result of that 1983 QB draft fallout - IN SPITE OF Blackledge being a complete bust and O'Brien being a pretty damn decent QB.
My ideal first 3 rounds would be
Rd 1 - Beasley
Rd 2 - Dorsett
Rd 3 - Petty/Sean Mannion either
With the draft about a month away, let's make our 7 round projections:
6) Amari Cooper WR 6'1"/210 Alabama
37) Eli Harold OLB 6'4"/240 Virginia
70) Jay Ajayi RB 6'/216 Boise State
101) Ali Marpet T/G 6'4"/307 Hobart
133) Traded to the Bears for Brandon Marshall WR
165) Traded to the Seahawks for Percy Harvin WR
198) Justin Manton 6'3"/196 Louisiana-Monroe Punter / Kicker
Go Jets...Cyborg
Not sure what PITA means ? LOL

so using the picks from my mock draft contest entry...
1 - Kevin White - WR
2 - Eli Harold - OLB
3 - Duke Johnson - RB
4 - Garrett Grayson - QB
not sure grayson makes it to the 4th or harold makes it to our pick in the 2nd, but i'd love that outcome

I would not take Dorset at #37 he has boom or bust written all over him ..... many scouts already have him a bust.... there will be lots of better picks on the board.
